Commission for
Maximus-Ursus
Woke up today and said, “I am going to do something different!”... I did this commission on Storm Grey Charcoal Paper. It was a wonderful challenge, plus the subject matter was favorable. I like history, fantasy, and bears aren't bad either. I was worried that this would not come out well, but I think it came out pretty good! Done with 2H, and 6B Staedler Lumographs, HB, 2B, 4B, and White Charcoal General's Charcoal Pencils, plus an Eraser Stick, and a Kneaded Eraser (which is all most dead), on Straithmore 500 Series Storm Grey Charcoal Paper (I wish they made a smoother version).

I don't give out empty compliments - I am very sincere when I tell someone how much I enjoy something they have done. You very much earned the praise you have been receiving on your art.
As far as history goes, I am a coin dealer, specializing in ancient Roman and Byzantine. Maximus is my company mascot and why I have art with a lot of backstory to it. I plan to have a complete set of Roman armor made in leather for my fursuit to wear at furcons. I already have the gladius, but need to peace-bond it. Hopefully the project will all come together so when we see each other again at a con we could get some pics done together as I LOVE your fursuit
