I commented upon Drayk's post of this image, but I thought it was only fair to give the artist some praise too, so here goes.
Like I said to Drayk, kudos to you and to him for coming up with such an adorable idea for an image. It's pretty clear from this image's stats and the comments that a whole lot of people like it, and I happily count myself amongst them. How you transformed Drayk's Shurian into such a cute little wedge is quite impressive in its own right. The beady eyes, the upside down expression, his cute raised legs and that comically cartoon drumstick all really sell the charm of this piece.
You deserve praise from an artistic standpoint too. The fairly soft blend of pastel colours really compliments the little Shurian at the bottom. And it adds just a little something to the image, that a full background would have probably complicated, and a simple background would have understated. Everything works really well, and gives this the charm people seem to enjoy so much.
I added Drayk's submission to my favourites, and I'll happily add this too. Once again, kudos to you on a very cute piece!

This is so cute, I don't think I've ever seen a cuter dragon (i hope?) in my life!
And I'll probably get shot for this, but I kinda noticed that he has two right thumbs....or I'm just special and those are just paw-feet. With no thumbs. D:
