Luzza Albrecht: A magic user in hiding. Unbeknownst to her, the last of the lineage of those who saved the world millennia ago. She prefers to spend her days tending to her library, reading about days long past.

Maeja LaCroix: A starlet seeking to take a break from the routine of her celebrity. Do not underestimate her, as she is a fierce warrior, capable of handling herself on the battlefield. Needless to say, however, the word "subtle" is not in this lady's vocabulary.

Damek Vargas: A low level thug with an odd sense of honor. His defeat at the hands of Dax and his friends forced him to reconsider his life, which had left him blinded, relying on a supernatural sense to allow him to "see" his foes, and live a life of combat. He has grown to respect Maeja as a fighter, and the two enjoy frequent sparring matches.
