Wow, this took forever. When I opened my sketch book I noticed that my more recent drawings were lacking in the feminine persuasion so I decided that I needed to draw girl. "But what kind?" I asked myself, "Let's do an orca!" a voice called back to me. Sounded good to me, for I had not drawn an orca in a while, a certainly hadn't drawn an orca femme in a while. But what should she be doing? I wanted to make her sassy, tall, the kind that would only choose a mate if he's strong, tough, and a stable will [you know the kind, those warrior women]. So that's how I came out w/ the stance [her hips cocked to the side and leaning back a bit]; but if she's a warrior, she'd need a weapon, and what better than a friggin' large sword? And there we have it. She needed armor, so I thought to myself, "What if she only had the armor on her limbs, because I want to draw her torso." And that's how I drew her. Now before you say anything about perversion [although it might be true] I came up w/ a story behind it:
*ahem* A leacherous old hermit [quite literally, he was a hermit crab, a big one] loved the look of Deborah's body, and cast a spell so that her perfect torso would never be cut, wounded, or bruised in anyway [I think this happen to Xena, Red Sonja, and Wonder Woman], but it came w/ a curse: wearing too much on her torso made her very uncomfortable and would urge her to remove her clothing [leacherous wizards, what're you gonna do w/ 'em?] And there we have Deborah.
Now if you'll look to her right leg you'll see a little cutie hiding behind her. This is her baby bro, Kvin [pronounced "Vin", the "K" is silent], whom she is very protective of. He's an acolyte, so he knows a few prayers of healing and protection, which works very well for Deborah when they're on a journey. Eventually he grows to be a monk as a teenager [and is given the name Galileo by the High Preist, sound familiar? It should] and eventually becomes the High Priest when he's all grown and big. I might draw something depicting that.
