So, been working on and off on these (trying to get one of my many, many projects done). These are a pair of not-so-standard faun legs (with close-up details of the inherent geek I put in), hopefully to be turned into a fullsuit at one point (character's name in my head is Star, BTW; can you guess why?).
Plans are in place to wear these to the local Ren Faire, if nowhere else.
I want to add hooves (there's none yet), but those will have to wait while I figure out what type of hooves and how I want them attached (I kind of want to make it possible to wear any shoes I want with the costume, as the idea of bowling in this is appealing).
Also, need to sew in some elastic so the legs/butt hug me better (and brush out the seams more). And finish the top part and attach it to the inside stretchy part (that has the padding on it).
But woot! Progress on something! Now I really should get to studying for that test later this week... -_-;;;
Comments? Or critiques? These are my first pair of padded legs, and I think they turned out well, given that my big butt is filling them. ;)

Aside from a fursuit I started and haven't finished (haven't given up on it yet, though), these are my first major furry project I feel are good enough to share. I'm glad you like them. :)

A friend asked me how to do this, so I will post pics of everything I can soon, including what is under the fur (maybe put the pics together to make it a tutorial, although there's so many good ones already out there).
But until then, I will tell you I didn't use foam in the legs, I used polyfilled pillows. They seemed like a better solution with what I had to work with.

Yeah, working on a budget can be a pain. :P What is eggcraft foam? I'm sure I know it, but maybe not by that name.
The pillow technique did work well, only I wish I'd used a better fabric for my pillows. I used some stuff my neighbor gave me for free and it frayed like mad when I cut it.

Oh, yeah. I got some of that at a store for really cheap and played around with it. Not so impressed by the results. :P

I hope to soon. I don't feel I have enough displayed to show what I can do with various materials (especially furs). After I finish a few projects and have those up (as well as get this masters I'm going to school for mostly completed), then I probably will.
With luck, that should be no later than May (it's mostly an issue of getting this masters thesis near completion).
