almost done inking. Still trying to decide if the dress should be mostly transparent or not?

I'd go with mostly transparent. It looks really similar to traditional Greek attire, which was frequently made of nearly transparent linen.

i like the transparent idea, as long as there's not too much nip/crotch detail so I can still wear it!
