The last bastion
Between the villages of Mintos and Maia exists a little secret hamlet where unicorns live, Merak, or try to survive. The corns are well-know to be valuable for many reasons, and numerous are the mercenaries to try to have such a treasure in any ways. Today, a massive company tries to overwhelm the defense of the hamlet. How could they dare?
They will never reach my village!. Whatever he's the only one who stands up on that battlefield, he swears that noone will threat his family. The medal made by his son attached to his corn, he will challenge every opponent without fear despite the hurts. You will never make me kneel to you.
What can a warrior do against such an army? Who will remember the legend of the last unicorn's tribe?

Still thinking about to integrate such a part into my story Oblivion. That could be interesting to see after all =3
Why such a context for a specie supposed peaceful? I think that since their corns are highly valuable in any RPG, they must be some hunts to have those treasures. Come on, I really don't think that an adventurer just wait that an old unicorn dies to take his corn legally. What would an unicorn do against those foes? To let them kill his family because he's supposed to be peaceful? Nah, protect!
My goal was to draw something different than those arctic vixens or felines. Since I s*ck at equine anatomy, I supposed I could draw an unicorn in a battle. And a male, to change! Dang I draw too much females!
Well, I was sorta proud of the result, 'till a workmate noticed that he has a girl's butt! ... DANG IT THAT'S SO TRUE!!!
Oh, and a pun... Sleipnir Hagen, from Merak's hamlet... Got that?

Holy hell in a hand basket. Going ever farther away from your traditional pieces, this colored version really gives such a different look from what I've seen from you. The looks is different with the very strong masculine vibe coming off from him. Or really maybe really it's the face. It's not soft or welcoming, the eyes are harsh but somewhat frightening with a sort of "crushed" beauty in them. Perhaps once gentle and kind, but now full of anger and free of remorse. This character just controls so much space of the piece he is in, it's so visually wonderful.
A very excellent piece. Hope to see more of him, maybe even a battle piece or the like.

Unicorns?
Peaceful?
*HA!*
Hardly. Mythologically speaking Unicorns would pick fights with Lions at any oppourtunity. Lewis Carroll even used this antagonism as part of a story in Through the Looking Glass.
Anyone trying to kill a unicorn for any reason better be ready for a hell of a fight.
