Another amazing drawing by the talented Silvermidnight. This is my pegasus character Wind Stormhoof. Very little is known about him. Now for the long story behind the character. Send me comments and let me know what you think about him.


He is sort of a quiet type and doesn't talk sometimes. He is very smart and protective. He doesn't like to show off how fast he is. He has a painful past that he never talks about. Not much is known about him. He tends to avoid other ponies and doesn't like getting asked too many questions. His voice is soft and mellow. He seems to be sad and lonely all the time, but doesn't admit it and sort of hides it. He does keep a straight face on most of the time and doesn't smile. Rumors has it that he once got so overwhelmed with sadness from the tragedy, that he flew as fast as he could. Tears were running down his face as he tried so hard not to cry and to try to make the pain go away which caused a severe weather storm. He flew as fast as he could trying to clear his mind and emotions, but also trying to runaway from his broken heart. He does one day stop by Ponyville and bumps into Rainbow Dasher. Rainbow Dash does bug him cause she heard rumors about his legendary speed. After bothering him so much, he gives in and races her. She is speechless and shocked on his super speed. Rainbow Dash is the only pony to befriend him and the only one to get him to smile a little bit. They soon start hanging out together and Rainbow Dash develops a crush on Wind. She one day gets brave enough and on hearts and hooves day, kisses him on the cheek. He blushes and sort of flies away and disappears. Rainbow Dash gets really upset cause he flew away cause she feels like she lost a good friend. He laster comes back and says sorry and gives her some flowers. After that, they seem to start developing a bond. Later on, Rainbow Dash gets hit on head and injured and falls high from the sky. Her friends all panic and scream and as Rainbow Dash is falling and about to pass out, Wind comes flying out of no where grabs Rainbow Dash. Just before she passes out, her half open eyes sees who it is and she whispers, Wind...... She then closes her eyes and passes out. She later wakes up in hospital and doesn't remember much. She then realizes where is Wind and one of the nurse ponies said that he dropped her on and gave her a kiss on the cheek and then disappeared. After remembering what happened, she starts to cry, even though she is always acting tough and says she is never afraid or cries. A few minutes later, Wind walks in and asks why is she so upset? She hugs him tight and says she doesn't want to be alone and doesnt want to lose more than a friend. His eyes get watery and he tries not to show his emotions and tells her he won't leave her. After she hugs him tight and gently kisses him on the lips and thanks him for saving her. He blushes and then the main ponies enter the room and both act like nothing happened. After recovering, Wind ends up living with Rainbow Dash. Later on, he does end up asking Rainbow Dash to marry him and be his special somepony. She says yes and cries and kisses him. They later on try to figure out how to tell the others that they have been secretly living together and having to drop the ball on them about getting married. Since others only seem to thinkn they are just good friends. Wind also tends to leave Ponyville and goes around Equestria and just flies around. When they do tell the others, they are all shocked and speechless.

After Rainbow Dash has been hanging out with Wind, she seems to show a little more emotions than usual. Meaning, she isn't always playing the tough pony as much and showing her soft side a little more. After getting married, they continue to live at Rainbow Dash's home. The Wonderbolts try to recruit him, but he declines. Spitfire ends up having a little crush on Wind and is a little jealous of Rainbow Dash. Spitfire does kiss Wind and tries to convince him again to join, but still says no and blushes. Rainbow Dash laughs at Wind and says, "looks like the head trainer of the Wonderbolts has a crush on you."
He blushes and tries to get Rainbow Dash to stop laughing at him cause Spitfire ikes him. Spitfire does invites him out for dinner and Rainbow Dash approves and decides to take Soarin out for dinner as well. Wind basically goes out with Spitfire while Rainbow Dash goes out with Soarin. They all have fun doing a dinner date.

Rainbow Dash and Wind end up having a foal who looks almost like Daring Doo, except one eye is blue and the other eye is the same color as Rainbow Dash. They name her Ripfire. She is grows up to be and excellent flyer and very athletic. Rainbow Dash reads her the Daring Doo books and Riptide ends up with the nick name Daring Doo. She gets a hat and uniform just like her. She is fast and very daring just like her in the book. Even though she can fly, she is fast on her hooves and is the one for adventure. Even though she is a very fast flier, she is very impressive and seems to spend a lot of time on her hooves like a very athletic earth pony. She is a very fast runner and can do flips and stuff. Riptide does enjoy spending time with Scootaloo. She loves it when Scootaloo takes her scooter and pulls her in the cart. Riptide loves Scootaloo like a big sister and enjoys the company of Applebloom and Sweetie Belle. When she does get older, she is always seen wearing her Daring Doo hat. She loves dressing like her and gets to meet the author and gets his autograph. She helps him wrote and make up some stories after sharing some of her adventures. Riptide did attend the Wonderbolt Academy and graduated, but prefers to help write the Daring Doo stories, which Rainbow Dash loves to read.

Wind's past still remains a mystery. He never talks about it or mentions anything about it. He one day does prove to everypony about his legendary speed. He flies up high enough so he wont cause a storm and does it. It shocks everypony. Only thing that is strange about him is his eyes. Only thing Wind ever mentions to anypony is that he was an orphan and that is original parents died. After that, the rest is a mystery. When he flies super fast, he causes a nasty hurricane throughout Equestria.
