I know a few people who used to be like me, in that they hated coffee and used Mt. Dew as an equivalent. Then, they went somewhere where there was no Mt. Dew, and it was too cold to drink it anyway, so they acclimated to coffee.
As for me, I've tried. Only kind of coffee I can stomach is almond ammaretto.

Coffee is good, if it's made well.
I usually make my own. Irritatingly often, people use the coffee sparingly and when you can see the cup bottom even when it's full, you might as well dump it into the sewer.
I like mine STRONG. Just like my mustard and milk; everything else is just flavored water.
