However there are products on the market in Equestria specifically to help maintain pegasi feathers. I particularly like Shining Dawn Wing Oil and Feather Conditioner. They make it in Cloudsdale itself. Rainbow Dash got me a tin of it for Hearth's Warming Eve

Now I'm wondering if griffons have other products for that purpose.

The Apple Family gave us scarfs knitted by Granny Smith and AJ. Twilight gave us a book on Equestrian history and a best of Happy Mare's Home Journal recipes collection. Pinkie gave us candy. Fluttershy gave us a selection of dried herbs from her garden. Rarity gave us a basket of assorted bath soaps and oils for us all to use and nice thick blanket of Trottingham wool which we've put to good use during the Deep Freeze.

You really need to work on your landing approach and flair patterns. Ouch. Possably you need to try a stall approach, with a quick flair at the end. kill airspeed befor touchdown. THE COLONEL

I didn't mean for that to be such a huge loaded question btw. I know of Cogs and Grist, and I suppose on some level RBD and some of the main six as well, but I guess I mean in general?

In regards to the question of friendship in Equestria. Yes I would consider many of the ponies now friends and neighbors.

As you mentioned Cogs and Grist are some of our closest neighbors and we are on very good terms with them. Although it took a while for Grist to warm to me. One, I think he was being protective of Cogs, and two he has had bad experience with pegasi and his windmill. This was further aggravated by the fact that I am fairly close in color to the mare who has done the most damage to his mill.

I am on very good terms with the Apple family, even with AJ's concerns about Petina, and have helped out there now on a couple of occasions doing minor hired hoof work.

Twilight and I get along great and we love to have long conversations at the library on a variety of topics. Even if Twilight has to sometimes dumb down or spend time explaining things in more detail when I get that dumbstruck look.

Pinkie is Pinkie and she's friends with just about everypony. Although I find that little bit of her can go a long ways at times.

Rarity and I get along just fine. If nothing else I think she finds the whole nature of my household. Two attractive, adventurous mares, one stallion, living together in a quaint, secluded country cottage to something right out of one those Marequin novels she reads. Also the whole nature of my arrival in Equestria and events that have followed are like something out of a fairy tale. Also as an artist I can appreciate design.

Fluttershy is probably the of the Mane Six I see the least of. Also I think she finds Petina and Carousel to be a rather daunting presence.

Rainbow Dash and I get along well and she'll probably end up being my boss when I finally get my weatherpony certification. However RD is competitive that intentional or not everything turns into a competition, and that can be bothersome at times. Also RD likes to think of herself as an Alpha and that can cause friction between her and Petina who is most certainly an Alpha. This will rear its head a few times during this current dream arc.

I also remember you mentioning that AJ threatened to do the same to Petina if she ever caught her going after Big Mac. It must be so entertaining around those two.

Generally everypony is pleasant towards each other, with the few exceptions, which is shown even in the TV show, and ponies of similar interests group together. Not much different than normal, but with a gentler feeling sounds like :)

Cutie marks: Directional or not?

I mean it looks like you have mirror images depending on what side, but then Patina has a cash symbol, and that's directional... Does she have a 'backwards' side? If your mark has a directional design that needs to point 'forward' but also a letter symbol that has a distinct right and left, do you have a slightly different mark depending on what side you're looking at?

I think I need to go visit Twilight's library.

Well on my mark the paintbrush is always at the back heading toward my haunches and clouds pointed toward my chest. The bottom point of Rainbow Dash's lightning bolt is always pointing forward in my dreams and based on show reference I have seen. Except when there are unknown animation production errors.

Petina's dollar sign is facing the readable way based on which side it is on, and the little flag on top of Carousel's carousel always points the same way. Does that help
