This photo was taken on October 2011 from the balcony of my dorm room. I still miss waking up to see this out my window every morning, something so outlandishly different from the countryside that I am so used to seeing in Montana. One night I just set my camera up on a tripod, took it out to my balcony and took this photo on an 8-second shutter speed.

Really... It was a magical experience. To think of how much time has passed since I've returned. Almost six months already.

While I had a wonderful time, I tend to look back on it with a sense of longing and melancholy that could only come with spending 11 months in a country you love.
