You are totally the person who turned me on to APC! Seeing this side by side with your older art is really inspiring, you've come so far! I love Hush's expression and their hair is so lovely, there's such a nice depth of color in there. I notice the little bicolor art, teehee. :>

I love that this goes along with the other picture you just did of them, with the floaty star background and hush holding devon's leash. also PILL SATURNS YES. and the little pink and blue heart coming out of the smoke from hush's cigarette!

seeing devon so happy with his huge smile and dobie wags just melts my heart. his face is so cute! I don't know if I've mentioned it to you yet but I like how in the recent pictures of him you've been doing even though his eyes are blank you can see a hint of where his iris would be. especially since I've been wondering how he would look with very very pale milky eyes and considered trying them out in one of the pictures I want to do of him. I think it adds a touch of extra emotion, not that you need it because your art is so full of wonderful expressions already! speaking of eyes, the pink ones you've been giving hush are so pretty and I love that they go so well with devon's color scheme. his natural eye color is pale blue/teal, but he can wear colored contacts whenever so he can have pink or lavender eyes too. the little bits of pink on him and blue on devon really bring them together, it's like their outfits aren't complete without the other one there. I loooove that you've done hush from a more front on view, his face looks killer. the way you drew his wool is super plush, and I adore the little extra fluff on his chest and his happy trail ahhh yes <3 seriously he looks amazing; the hair, the clothes, the makeup, everything. the rich colors you used to shade devon are blowing my mind, he still reads as brown but you can see bits of grey, blue, and even some pinkish that give him so much depth. and I totally feel you on what you were saying earlier about needing more blues for hush, he is the most obnoxious colors to get right in markers. all the light blues are still too dark or not teal enough, and his body is like grey/teal/100 different shades of blue @_@ he looks wonderful tho, I especially like how you did his hair!

I'm gonna go into this a little more when I reply to your message tomorrow, but just know hush loves devon in all hair colors, be it his regular lavender, pink, or even pale blue. he has always and will always be happy to help devon play around with clothes, makeup, and hair, but devon doesn't *have* to change anything unless he like it himself and wants to. <3 and I will have lots more to say + pics tomorrow, I realized the wips I have of hush needed a bit more refining to be of any use to you while I finish his official ref. so I'm gonna actually get all his markings and accessories in there and then send them over tomorrow <3

Nnnnnghhhhh HOW.... do you notice all the tiny little things that I do?! It means you show true interest in my art, not like I ever doubted it, but unlike most other people you take the time to note the little things that I put effort into that usually goes missed. I love that you have noticed I've been giving Devon just a little bit of an iris.... I am totally down with doing them a milky blue color. I was always wondering, HELLO even though he's blind he'd still have SOMETHING there since he doesn't have glass eyes or anything (which has been an idea I've been toying with, but I thought it might take away from his character, unless they were obviously fake - something you could pull off way better than me and I know it!) And I was trying to incorporate his scars in there, since he was the one who sliced up his own eyes. He needs some scars around his eyes to show that I think, and how it would effect the iris, not sure..... so HEY play around with it! I trust anything you come up with!!

Thank you for noticing the little things, like Hush's happy trail and the fact that he's got the pink eyes and the right makeup. Part of the reason his hair may look a little darker than the previous image and than I intended is that I have found I draw so much better when I do the base image in ballpoint pen. Then I color, then I reink with microns and shit like that. But because of the ballpoint pen some of the light colors smear and do funny things, but I kind of like it? What do you think??

And of course their outfits must match I just had to make that happen.Now that Devon is back with Hush he is going to wear SO MUCH more blue you have no idea. They must match always!!!

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE PICTUUUURREEESSSS omg send them when you are ready and have time but know I'm sitting here figuratively wagging my tail (god I'm such a furry) in anticipation and excitement! XD
