Ive been wanting to try a more realistic painting of one of the guardian for a while now. Sadly I had the hardest time with the back wing. This awesome guy here is Snare the guardian of Air/Wind. His over all appearance is based of the red tailed hawk. Most of the guardians have to stay away from human populated areas to prevent speculation due to off appearances. But Snare is able to get close with out problems. Though he blends in well there are some things that make him noticeable to those who have either seen him before of can described. His wings, legs, and tail features are all slightly larger than a normal red tailed hawk. He also keeps most of his feathers "fluffed" up to cause air resistance. This is due to his training to build up strength and speed. Hes very quiet and dose not socialize with others much.
Note this was the first time seriously using this bush:)
Due to the time spent on this please dont comment about anatomy unless you read above. Now time for sleep

Anatomy smatomy, this is incredibly beautiful work. You did an amazing job with those feathers and the forest in the background looks spectacular. There's so much detail in depth in this picture; I bet it took forever in a day to finish this piece.
Thanks :) and yeah it took around 25 hours with this piece.
