Hector Louis was born in Huntsville Alabama to a large family of rats. Living in Huntsville, his family was and still are huge fans of the Local sports team, The Mayors. Unlike his family however, Hector was a bigger fan of the Clefs. When he started middle school, he tried out for the school team, in the hopes of one day becoming a professional Basketball player. His dreams got dashed though because of his schools “Grades before Sports” Program, which states to need to have a minimum of a 3.5 GPA to play for the team. Hector was a 3.0-3.4 average kept his goal of playing on the team just out of paws reach through High School.
Bitter and disappointed he left Huntsville and attended college at the University of Phoenix where he was practically offered an opportunity to become a scout for the college basketball team. His first year on the job, he learned the hard way that no one took his southern accent and personality seriously. During his off time he changed his personality to rival that of a movie character he saw who was a “Fake-badass mugger”. The Next scouting season and everyone after that he earned a great deal of respect form potential scholars, and his fellow workers.
After 5 years of scouting, opportunity once again knocked for the rat from Huntsville. Hector had been watching the Sports news network while waiting for an interview for a Job opening for the Kansas City Clefs when he overheard a conversation with Newest GM for the Clefs, and the FBA Commissioner. From what he had heard, the Clefs had a month to find a new owner or they’d be demoted to D-league, or have to move. Over hearing this, Hector reached for his soon to be last check from the university, approached the two and asked how much it would cost to buy the team. The two looked like they were about to laugh, or make a joke to scare him away, but hector handed the Commissioner his check. After Careful consideration he, and the GM held a private interview with Hector, which lasted all day, Hector signed the paper work, and paid all but 3 grand of his 20,0000 paycheck, and was officially announced as the owner of the Kansas City Clefs.
