Midnight the dog of the night is one of NightCrest's most powerful characters. What he lacks in intellegence he makes up for in his overwhelming power of darkness. Midnight was creted by an evil dark monstrous sorcerer to conquer our dimesion, but before any evil was implanted into him he was sent prematurely and landed inthe home of 4 dogs. Thinking Midnight was a burglar they knocked him out and and attempted to tie him up. The Second the dogs touched midnight they infused with dark power. Blade obtained blade manipulation, Sparks gained electric control, Soul obtained healing, and Typhoon got ear control. Since that incident the 4 dogs found out Midnight secret: who ever defeats the dog of the night and touches it shall receive one special power, but who so ever destroys the dog of the night shall receive all the powers of the night and more. With this knowledge now leaked out to the public every monster, demon, and sumbag oddity comes in search of Midnight, but usually mistake Blade as the dog of the night. Now Midnight and the 4 dogs have become paranormalists in a way to help fight the forces of darkness and make a couple of bucks a long the way.
