Haha good plan. I did a pic last halloween of Vampire Austin.
I wanted challneged myself to do a 5 min. pic
Later i went back and colored it :P

The random doodles one, was done in 25mins and that all was done with out pencil XD

I jumped right in with a pen! :D

Then try a zen tangle :D

With a pen you just draw patterns and designs be free, and if you mess up you have to find a way to work it into your picture >:D

Lol I actually started with pen first cause I didn't understand shading with a pencil

So I did hatching and cross hatching wit a pen :D

I don't do much shading though...I should probably learn that.

The way a lot of people do it is, very lightly wit a pencil they draw a circle on the page, that circle is the light source.
The bigger the circle the brighter the light. They use this to determine where the light is hitting and what needs to be shaded.
