The foam is colored; go back in the gallery and you'll see a WIP without the paint. The paints are typical acrylic paints. I decided to try something new with the hair and asked King Cheetah to place the hi-lights for the hair on his drawing, I took it from there. The background is a sheet of scrapbooking paper.
