Once upon a time, there was two balloons called jock and yono. they werer strictly in love- bound to happen in a million years. they werer together man. unfortunatetimetable, they both seemed to have previous experience-which kept calling them one way oranother. (you know howitis.) but they battled on against overwhelming oddities, includo some of their beast friends. being in love they cloong even the more together man-but some of the poionous monsters' outdated boss - lordy ape claws did stick slightly, and they occasionally had to resort to the dry cleaners. luckily, this did not kill them and they weren't banned from the olympic games. they lived hopefully ever after and who could blame them.
this is a true story....are you sitting comfortably?.....let's begin......
long ago in ancient china.....during the reign of emperor xiaowen.....a geomancer....a landlord....and a buddhist monk passed through Mount Song.......the thick fog kept them from seeing each other.
suddenly....they heard voices.....looking up......they saw a temple among the clouds with the words "Zhulin temple" at the entrance....they also saw a old monk and a young boy.....both were wearing buddhist robes.....
young boy:
teacher......in heaven we have Zhulin temple.......what does earth have?
the old monk pointed towards Mount Song......a temple came into view.....this temple would soon became famous even today......but there is a catch.....at that time.....there was no temple at Mount Song!
the three travellers made their way down the mountain and found lodging for the night.....they believed that the place where they saw the temple must be a blessed ground.
the geomancer wanted to build a villa at the location.....
the landlord wanted to build his ancestral burial ground there......
the monk wanted to build the temple he saw there and turn the mirage into reality.......
without waiting for morning....he set off for Mount Song to stake his claim.
three days later....the three travellers arrived at the mountain to begin construction....the geomancer and the landlord quarrelled with each other.....the monk just stood there......just then....the emperor himself passed by.
emperor xiaowen:
you all claim this land is yours.....what proof do you have?
the geomancer:
your majesty.....the hat you see belongs to me...that is my proof.
the landlord:
I have proof too....see this pole?.....I inserted it into the ground three days ago
the monk:
your majesty.....my proof is under the pole.....
(indeed....buried in the earth....was a pair of monk's shoes)
emperor xiaowen:
the shoes were under the hat and the pole........the monk was here first.......the land belongs to the monk.
the monk:
I wish to build a temple here.......would your majesty name this temple?
emperor xiaowen:
this temple is shrouded in the forests of Mount Shaoshi........I will name it shao forest temple.....
....................................
....................................
in chinese......the temple is called......."少林寺"........we now know it as.....shaolin temple!
