That's awesome. I got to meet him several years ago, myself, and got him to sign a copy of one of his other novels for me, and it is definitely one of my most treasured possessions. His work is probably the biggest reason I started writing stories, myself. Not that I'll ever be that good!

My girlfriend and I were checking this book out while shopping. She picked it up and was all "Oh my god, I used to read this all the time when I was like ...eight! This was one of my favorite books of all time." She didn't get a copy but I knew she wanted it.
When I saw this image in my feed I had to laugh. Oooh she would be so jealous. It's strange to see this popping up again. XD

I have the graphic novel collection and original novel signed by him as well!
He's been at Anime Expo the last few years so I never give up the chance to stop by his stand! Such an awesome guy. ; u ;

Two years ago I got the book itself signed by the author at AC for my sister (who's a huge fan of the series)... didn't know he had a graphic novel version though... o.o'

Sweet :). I never make it to cons or get to meet people. But due to eBay I do have a small collection of signed things. My latest addition will soon be a foil Twilight Sparkle card signed by Tara Strong, the voice actress.
