An oldie but goodie. Made this one in late December 2005 but kept tweaking it until January 2006. I suppose a huge vortex opened over London and is now starting to suck-up Big Ben.

Now that you bring that up, it sort of does look sort of like that. Actually, like most of my matte paintings, I just surf the web, read books, go outside, etc and try to get inspired. As much as I love LotR, I don't think I got anything from the third movie (I can't speak for my deep subconcious though. :) )
