i friggin love gerbils.

i wish we could interact with these ones like i did with my old pair but Skrillex... chews. not bites, but chews. its awful
it makes it difficult to hold earl ;;
but i used to let mine roam around my bedroom!

i used to have a pair, sam and tabitha and they were so precious, i could hold them both at the same time and they'd run up and down my arms. they were the sweetest critters ever! they had precious little gerbil babies and didn't even change their personalities then! they weren't over protective of their little pinkies, so i got to raise them the same way!
and then like, the gerbil apocalypse happened when my dad's cat zeus knocked the tank over and killed most of them except for sam and he was never the same :I
HORRIBLE.

I've had similar things happen, my gerbils were male and female(I WAS LIED TO, TOLD THEY WERE MALES) and so they had babies but since i was 12 i didnt really understand how to care for gerbil babies? so they all kinda died ;;
and when i lived with my dad i had mice bbies and the mom died from stress because my house was loud and a horrible thing for a mommy mouse but luckily someone took the babies and saved them from death ;;
(they were oldish, and didnt need mommy much longer anyways... if i had more knowledge i probs could have kept them)

D: it's terrible when stuff like that happens isn't it? i hope i can get new gerbils soon, they're so fun.
