The final moments...
Wow, this piece took way longer than I bargained for! Mostly a bit of a test in perspective, fur, lighting, composition, texturing, and all that other stuff I'm simply just no good at :)
~10 hours, graphite and paper, then on to Photoshop for texturing (the really long part!)
EDIT: Redesigned the chin and teeth after some complaints about undue cartooniness!

OK - I uploaded the original, but it's pretty sparse! I added an awful lot straight in Photoshop, and fixed some of the basic geometry there too:
