This is a lil loving for Silent Hill 0rigins, the PSP prequal to the Silent Hill Franchise. From what I have played so far, I like it. Its got all the old faves, some twisted new creatures, and I think its worth getting the console for.
Anyway, this image of Alessa was first drawn on canvas paper and then painted in greyscale with watercolours, before being coloured in Photoshop. No imported textures or filters, just good old brushes and blending modes.
I want to live there so badly.

Yeah, The Red Pyramid does seem to dominate the fan-scene despite Alessa being the central character of the world. But I dunno about it being sad, this is kinda where Alessa fully develops her powers. http://youtube.com/watch?v=SOlm25EffPc
