Oh gee I don't know why I'm upoading this old picture now either.... HMMMM.... *whistlehum*
Dreya + who used to be known as Akashi. His name and character have since changed, but the idea remains the same.
This was a collaboration I did with
~Antique when she visited me many years ago. She drew and colored Dreya, I drew and colored Akashi. I always liked this because it showed off the differences in our styles and showed how Phees has the ability to make digital media and traditional media blend together flawlessly as she was the one who finished this up.
From 2004. Dammit stomach stop getting butterflies! So many memories and so many happy characters bouncing around my head right now.

Ahah I totally yelled "Holy shit, Dreya and Akashi!" As soon as I saw this. God I miss back in those days so much sometimes, being a creeper and watching the stories of your guy's characters was always... Gosh it made me do happy and it totally inspired me with my own characters. My one big regret is I never spoke to you as much as I wish I did, because I'm such a shy turd. But gosh this drawing, I remember it from back then too, and it's so seemlessly blended. Your styles are so different but compliment so well. I love this drawing so much, for reals. ;; These two were one of my favorite couples, because she would do anything for him and grew and changed with him. Loved them.
Omg ;____; You just made my night, seriously. It means worlds to me that you always liked them and that you followed their story. And the way she was for him then is the way she is for him now. She will do anything to make him happy. His name is going to be Aric now, but I find it even more suiting. They are going to have another fun story coming up, and I just had to post this old picture. And YOU BUTT you know I you a ton and I wish you hadn't been so shy!!! Your art fucking rocks and so do your characters and I'm glad in some little way I helped inspire that!!
Awww, thank you, Jolyn. ;; I don't even know why I was so damned shy, it's like... I reached out to Phee, Kristin, Kizzy, Gravewalker... Then shut down. :| What I kinda find funny is I'm out in CT at least twice a year now to, cause my husband runs a wrestling promotion in Danbury. I guess it's never too late to still reach out and do things I wish I had then, though. :3 But yeah, holy crap, you've always had such wonderful,.meaningful, in depth characters. How could you not get inspired by them? My problem is I'm perpetually in the pharmacy I work at. I might as well live there, I never get a chance to do much between there and school..
oh god this was during my least favorite of all the terrible phases my art went through over the years - when I was just figuring out that like, muscles exist, man and everyone I drew has super overly defined muscles like woah. eternal child character? NO PROBLEM MAKE HER RIPPED. XD
