We've all seen some horror flick where the antagonist's friends somehow become warped into grotesque monsters. It's a horrible experience knowing you're now fighting your former comrades, much less having to endure knowing they ended up like that, and that you can't save them.
But what if the "enemy" can do this to machines as well? And what if said machines include fighter aircraft from YOUR unit, flown by YOUR wingmen?
Out of the 12 F/A-37s sent on the "rescue" mission to Planet-220, six were visually confirmed as destroyed, three went missing, and the remaining three stuck together.
THIS is what happened to the missing craft, which reappeared as enemies...
This "thing" definitely qualifies as one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen --- the data alone doesn't do it justice. You can catch a glimpse of it in the Philosoma intro, viewable here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8P3JVftOEM
Why compile data on this freak, you might ask? Because you can't post data on the F/A-37 Strega without a homage to it's evil twin (and it's VERY evil)!
