"Awanata has always been a remarkably gentle and loving soul. Even from an early age, when she had been bedridden with a lame, aching leg that no amount of druidic magic could relieve, she spent hours upon hours tending to the small woodland creatures her friends would bring to her, mending their injuries or nursing them back from the brink of starvation.
It was of little surprise that, after several years of this kindness, the animals of the wilderness would offer her their own form of comfort. She always loved to craft dream catchers - she would always say that a discarded feather found in your path was a sign of good fortune and pleasant dreams.
She never told me what it meant when the birds went out of their way to give their feathers away, though..."
