It being a construct.
Constructs tend to be more common in areas well versed in magics... or haunted grounds... whichever.
This particular one is probably a walking barrier type thing. The gems on it's body can be used to create a magic barrier that is rather strong... its head is also a suitable shield...
It doesn't particularly like having its head used as a shield.
... I suppose it is a 'she' but this is easily changed so... yeah.
The arms, legs, and head can all be separated from the body with no real hassle... except for the discomfort of the construct.
... more to come as I think it up. Or ask... whichever.

To answer: No. Very Yes.
They tend to be very life-like, but reproduction has escaped their grasp so far.
In exchange however, they are able to replicate sexual organs pretty well... and have them be interchangeable to boot! Kinda like an advanced sort of onahole/vibrator/what have you.
It is something constructs can do (or have done) to them, however most don't tend to care either way. The ones that inherit a 'soul', so to speak, can come to even enjoy intercourse quite a bit. It just depends on the construct, I suppose.
