twilightsaint opted for Rooth'roo, and a mid-hop pose was the way to go. 'cause this 'roo hops quite a bit. He should be a brewer, he hops so much. ;) Or is it jumping? Definitely bouncing, in either case.

Had to make a slight tweak on the toes (they were backwards first try), but overall I'm pretty delighted with it. I love TwilightSaint's style, and this was their VERY FIRST kangaroo! And of course, as weird as kangaroos are to draw, Rooth'roo had to be extra weird with his funky blend of snowshoe hare. Ah well. It was fun for them anyhow. ;) And they went with a bit more blend of anthro/feral than originally intended, but I kind of like where the meter ended up. >:^)

TwilightSaint is a prolific artist, having already filled a gallery page or two with stuff since this piece was made last month. Very productive! You should keep an eye on them for eye-con commissions, and shaded stuff like this, and just about anything!
