There's been a couple of jackasses running around lately trawling through galleries of people who upload on multiple sites looking for that. Sometimes they have a point, more often than not they just got a bug up their butt about something. Had a couple of friends get their accounts suspended over the same thing, one for posting a cropped image, the other for posting an image that wasn't cub, but was tagged by users on another site.

It's become an epidemic after the admins announced that they had become wise to the code words being used by the white nationalists that were adopted after the last time the white nationalists all got kicked off of F.A.

I've been targeted too on more than one occasion. Including by one asshole who ended up getting permanently banned for the exact same thing for which he ran squealing to the admins to try to get me banned.

So they suspended you because the same picture had a tag they didn't allow (if used on NSFW content) but on a different site?

Yeah. I don't really have to worry about cub stuff since that's not my cup of tea. But it worries me that they can take something said elsewhere and suspend you on this site for it.
Might just be limited to the cub thing? Feels like it but you never know when it comes to FA and their rules so it makes you kinda paranoid you might do something on a different site that is later used against you on FA.

I think is just for stuff wrongly tagged as cub or another thing that isn't allowed on FA.

Sounds weird, what if there are other submissions not on this site thats on IB for example?

Depends, If you upload a fully SFW cub pic on this site, it is fine no matter how many alts you upload on other sites.
But, if you upload a nsfw pic of chibi characters like pokemon here, and upload the same pic on IB and tag it as cub, you may be a suspension.

Welcome back. That guy likes to also sneak tags onto other people's work on sites that allow users to tag and use those too. Even using sites like e621 and the like where the artist didn't do the upload.

I just asked a question to the staff related to that, what acions would they take for sites where the artist have no control over the tags like e621.

Originally they suspended a few people for that but I think most of them have been unsuspended.

because just because you have an IB account, it doesn't mean you post cub porn.

This is so shitty. People can add tags to other peoples works on sites like Inkbunny or e621. Someone could simply go crazy, tag stuff as cub on e621 and than get the artist banned on FA with that. This is just not right. Especially with Pokemon where an Arcanine, that evolved through a stone right after it was born, could be just as cub as a Riolu.

It doesn't apply to e621 unless the artist itself tagged it as cub. Luckily, you can see who tagged the pic on e621 before taking action.

Unfortunately someone could create an account with the artists name and then it doesn't work anymore. How do you prove an account is not yours?
And other archive sites aren't that transparent, like AGNPH or VCL.
FA should only apply its policies to FA, not to other websites.

The artist can still appeal and explain the situation. But yeah, I agree that FA should enforce their rules inside their site only.

Still, a ban or a suspension should not be the result of a forbidden tag you had on someone else's website. In cases like that, the artist should get the benefit of the doubt.
I often see users demanding the banning of artist on FA for cub art they upload on other sites although the artist doesn't uploading anything cub on FA, meaning they want to get cub artist banned from FA for just being cub artists, no matter what they upload to FA. I guess that situations like yours is a result of FA staff slowly giving in to that demand.
I've even seen users that demand that everything cub related should be banned from FA, even SFW works.
I've already seen a lot of artist who paint overly cute characters, that could be mistaken for cubs, moving from FA because they fear the accusations of drawing cub porn, but that's a different story.

Pretty sure the same just happened to Dacad. Pretty sure was stated pokemon were exempt from this. Someone is obviously going around reporting riolu pics in peoples galleries from a long time ago.

It's happening to a lot of artists who do Pokemon art --- people are reporting them as 'cub artists' and getting them banned. I guess this is what happens when you create an artificially restrictive environment for anthropomorphic artwork.

Man, that's waaay too invasive, chasing artists up over shit on separate platforms. This kinda shit bothers me a lot, even though it doesn't affect me personally.
What were the staff even trying to prove here? That they'll happily stalk people across the net in the name of some moral agenda?

I don't think it's the staff chasing artists, I think that some specific user is searching for old pokemon art over different platforms and reporting them.

Yeah, but the staff are acting on it. Even though it shouldn't have any effect on one's standing with this website. They should just ignore these dumb reports, and then the reports would stop. If artists keep getting suspended over this then the people filing reports are probably going to do it more, right?

La cosa era es que me reportaron un dibujó diciendo que era cub, me suspendieron y me tiraron una ofensa nivel 4 (o sea 1 report mas y chao), pero al final ni era cub, además que el mismo staff me habia dicho que Pokemon no aplica a esa regla y desde ese entonces no han modificado esa regla.

Yup, it seems someoneis mass wrongly reporting stuff that may look like cub, like chibi characters.

I was suspended yesterday because I had a picture on inkbunny with 20 characters, including nooklings, and a similar picture on FA with 18 characters, and the nooklings omitted. I guess they didn't notice the difference and suspended me

So they don't want to even be able to be associated vaguely with cub content. I guess I can see that being the case with things posted here and labeled as such, but doesn't the actual content of the image bear any weight as compared to the tags?

I don't know if I saw the image or not but does the character in it *look* like it's a cub, or does it look adult? I would think that would be much more telling than a tag.

If this can be used as a way to ban someone, then what happens when your art is posted to e621 or some other site, then someone else tags it as a cub image incorrectly? Would they ban you for that too? Seems like that could be abused to get people in trouble if so.

I may know who it is. I'm not completely sure yet. The fixation on Pokemon I'm seeing in your and a couple of other cases would be congruent with the personality and commentary of the one I'm investigating, and their active crusading transpired during the same time you all incurred your suspensions. I might be able to fully confirm their involvement by perusing the person's Twitter using the dates you and others were hit as a search parameter, if they immediately bragged about or otherwise spoke of it.

Long story short, this person has been a one-person army in holy battle against the perceived pedophile artists on FA, expending inordinate amounts of time scrutinizing people's IB galleries and postings, and cross-checking images which were cub-tagged on IB. They've been especially active in fomenting a sort of civil war within the vore community over this bullshit. They're very dedicated, but also clearly mentally ill. One of the topics they angrily elucidated the world about was underage Pokemon being inappropriately used in porn- they were so passionate they wrote this on their profile.

Anyway, if I verify it's this person, I'll PM you with more intel and whatever advice I'll have. Even if it is them, they don't seem fixated on you or Pokemon issues ATM, and they may well have suspended the crusades after being made furious by Dragoneer reversing a permanent ban on their main adversary they had precipitated. Fascinating stuff.
