I'll be getting there Thursday and staying through Monday. Who should I expect to see?

So when I released 'Nyan Cat!' for iOS, a bunch of people came forward asking why it wasn't on Android. The answer? I didn't have an Android device or a license for Unity Android, and those cost money I didn't have. Recently, I was able to get everything I needed for $600 and release 'Nyan Cat!' on Android for $0.99.

The iOS version was free, yeah, but this includes both in-app purchases, so in a way it's half-off. I didn't want to put in-app purchases in the Android version with that one company suing everybody under the sun. We dodged a bullet with the iOS version because they never actually responded to our response when they asked to settle with us. So yeah, 'Nyan Cat!' on Android is a complete version that includes everything and will include anything released in the future.

So, uhh, long story short, sales really, REALLY blow. More people wanted this app then bought it. I've sold, like, 6 copies total over the past few days. One copy yesterday. People are just not finding it. It's not that people just aren't interested any more. I get thousands of downloads and hundreds of sales each day on iOS. If anyone out there is interested, please download it. Maybe it'll pull the app out of the pile of crap a bit and get it noticed. Reviews would help too!

It'll be on the Amazon store as well, once it gets through their approval process. I developed this on a Kindle Fire and I want Kindle Fire users to be able to get it without having to go through all of the trouble of installing Android Market on it.

Just letting you guys know,  vincent is running a fat and inflation themed area in Erebus called The Swollen Coast. It still needs some work, but the basics are there. There is an Italian restaurant with huge seats, huge pizzas that you can change the toppings through a menu, giant ice cream cones that are available for free around the fountain of wine, and a huge tub of goo. So, since this is my personal journal and all, I'm just going to be very blunt about this. My mall isn't getting a lot of attention from sellers. Buyers? Sure. I'm making way more then the L$100 a week I spend on the 2 spots I use (Yeah, I'm renting from myself, but it goes into the sim's donation system so it says we need to make less when I do, as do all rental boxes). I'm not just saying this. Stuff is selling! Also, it seems my sandbox, which surrounds the mall, is the most popular/top in search for the word "sandbox" as far as adult sims go. Want to sell adult stuff? Furries or not, people are coming to my sim like crazy at the moment.

But yeah, bottom line, it's a popular adult sim right now. Most of the regulars are furries, mostly into vore, some into fat/inflation, and they love stuff like that. They also love avatar accessories. Many of the new visitors are humans. Who knows what they like, but they buy the crap out of my rocks and dirt, so there is no telling what they will buy! If you have a few things to sell and you can sell them for L$50 or more, if you sell one thing a week you've broken even. If not, you're down a few cents. Oh well!

The entire sim of Erebus is under a major redesign, and I've rebuilt SLVC as well. It's back on the ground now, and smaller. The problem with the old club is, first of all, nobody would teleport up to it, and second, it was huge. This new one is much cozier, with a pillow pit right in the entrance and some tables and a bar off to the side. Lockable private rooms can be found under a hatch on the floor. Clicking on the hatch will teleport you to the private room hub, themed as the club's basement, and private rooms with can be found inside. You can click the latch on the door to lock yourself in so nobody will be able to bother you and your RP partners. There is also plenty of space out in the swamp for more public RPs, and RP is always welcome inside of the club.

Around the pillow pit in the club are tiny buttons with a stomach on them. Click on those, and you will be placed inside of a stomach pose under the floor. This is a great visual RP tool for vore, as it hides you from the club and gives you a nice interior shot. It also animates nicely.

If you want to build, the sandbox is in the center of the sim, surrounding the mall. The sandbox is over twice as big as the last one, and with the mall in the middle, it's now easier to spread out and visually block distractions.

The mall and rentals should be opening before the end of the month, so if you have anything to sell or want a place in SL where your neighbors probably want to eat you, join our group and keep an eye out for a notice.

Also, please note that the majority of SLVC and a whole lot of the rest of the sim uses meshes, so you will need to use a recent Second Life client to view it. The latest official viewer will work fine, and Firestorm or Astra will work fine. Phoenix hasn't yet gotten mesh. If you are new to Second Life, don't worry about all of that and just install the official viewer. It has most of the features of 3rd party viewers these days, anyway!

This question is on a lot of these memes. Most people say "OH! Of course not!" and stuff like that, and I have, too, but in reality, we all are, really. Most of us do have a group of friends we hang out with, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just because I have a group of friends, doesn't mean we can't talk or hang around the con and stuff, however...

Want to go out and get something to eat? This is where it gets tricky. I'm not going to the con to eat. Cromwell isn't known for it's fantastic food anyway. The thing is, I've had some bad experiences with going out to eat with people. Why? Because I get a group together, and a friend wants to bring a friend, then they want to bring a friend. Suddenly, it's 3 hours later and people are still getting ready to go out. Then, somebody wants to go somewhere else, then, after we get 20 people together, somebody doesn't pay or tip or whatever and nobody knows who. To avoid this mess, I'm eating when I'm eating. I may get a group together to go somewhere, or I may go with some friends, but when we're leaving, we're leaving. That doesn't mean I won't eat with you. I'm just really tired of wasting my entire con trying to round everybody up and junk. I'd rather spend the con at the con rather then at the many mediocre restaurants in the area.

I spend a lot of time at these smaller cons sitting around and talking. If you share an interest with me, such as game development, I'd probably love to talk to you for way too long, especially late at night when not a lot is happening.

Do you do free art/trades/commissions?
The answer to all three of those is usually no. I don't go to cons to draw at all, and you don't want a commission from me anyway. Honestly, it's not worth either of our time or money. I only really draw for fun, and I'll already be having fun. Commissions tend to take the fun out of it a lot of the time.

I figured I should post this here. It's not much of a game quite yet. Mostly it's just a toy we got out in order to get something out. The game mode is nearly finished, though, and I'll be submitting it soon. It should be out in about a week. For now, go ahead and try out the app. It's free. :D I appreciate you guys' support!

I'm pretty bad at these con reports, so I guess I'll keep this simple. I wasn't overly thrilled about the change of hotel and stuff, but in the end, FWA was as fun as it was last year. :D I hung out a bunch with new friends and old ones and suited a ton. I also did fursuit games for the first time. Our team got robbed. We tied in the first round and then they tried to tell us that 4 pair isn't a valid poker hand. Psh. By the way, if anyone has pictures of my suit or finds any, I want to see them!

We also went to the The World of Coke, where a polar bear ate  Jym's head, we were injured by theater seats, something was actually able to creep  Scurrow out, and trying 64 different Coke products probably made me sick.

This con was the first time anyone else tried on my suit as well.  Scurrow was in Amp on Saturday because I wasn't feeling too up for it and  Hulex was in Amp on Sunday night and I was in his suit, which led to all sorts of awkward situations! His fursuit head was also so tiny it hurts. At some point during this night I stole a boombox and played a 10 second loop of the sax from Careless Whisper to a furpile in the headless lounge.

I'm not going to do one of those super cool people I hung out with pools because I'll probably forget somebody and make them grumpy or not even know their FA. You all know who you are, anyway!

Everybody cool should come to FA:U, AC and FurFright, because I'll be at those too. Let's at least attempt to make them as awesome as FWA. :D

I figure it's close enough that I should probably make a journal about it to remind myself to get ready. Anyway, yeah, I'll be there! I should be getting there around Thursday or Friday. I'm driving down with  scurrow and possibly  shadowclaw, if he is going (maybe  kitsunefoxman if he isn't). I'll be staying with those two and  Jym and probably somebody else who I don't know yet! Anyway, no memes here, but I'll say a few things.

So I'm writing this music game for the iPhone (and probably free or something for the PC) and while you will be able to throw your own tracked music at it, I'd like to actually ship it with some tracks because people are, well, dumb (I've gotten bad reviews for Desert Truck because people couldn't figure out how to steer, or press the help button apparently). So! Basically what this is going to do is take a mod file, strip out it's BPM, and throw junk at you to jump over and stuff to the music. For endless files, it'll just keep ramping up the difficulty until you eventually fail. So! Does anybody know anybody who does .mod files? None of my friends seem to do it and I'm not really up for going around asking people if I can use their music because some people just just get off on rejecting people and if anyone wants to play their music in the game they can put it in themselves. So, anyone? Only .mod .xm and .it are supported, but I can convert midis (sometimes). I'll be converting .mods to .xms because the file format is just too tough to handle, and I'd like to support .it files, but I haven't found the specification for it yet.

So I did this in about 2 days. I made the model and the fancy bulge shader myself. The bulge shader looks a lot fancier on a high-poly/less crappy model. But anyway, I'd like to do more things like this and possibly make them interactive. I'm thinking, like, click on the gut to have the prey push out from there, or a slow smoothing of the gut to show digestion or something. Stuff like that. However, this shit is a lot of work. Would anyone be willing to pay to have stuff like this finished? Perhaps commission something like this? Speak up! I'd probably charge $100 for something like this with a bit of animation and stuff. I think that's extremely reasonable considering the time that goes into them. Any takers?

Ok. This is tough. So far, I've been getting by with my game. I can model, program, design, create textures, create posters and UIs, create sound effects, pretty much EVERYTHING involved with making a game on my own. However, I cannot create music that I'm satisfied with. It doesn't need to be good, but it does need to fit. I was lucky enough to find a few Creative Commons songs that allow for us in commercial games, but that stuff is kinda hard to find, and it's even harder to find music to fit the game.

What I can't offer anyone right now is money. For me, this game really has no budget. That's why I'm doing most of this alone. I have no money to spend on this. I can promise this game will make money once released, but I can't promise how much. My guess is that this will be worth it. The game will have a cheap version and a free version, and honestly if I get iAds into the free version, I bet it'd make a lot more than the paid version does. So, anyway, I'd be happy to share profits with you, but there won't be any profits until about a month after release (I do believe the App store pays out once a month).

Anyway, what I need is grindhouse-y music. Heavy, pissed off junk. Possibly some ambient, and probably a good bad guy theme and sad time to cry (even though it's just fruit) theme. If anyone thinks they can handle that sort of thing and wants to be involved, contact me with some samples. :D
