i honestly believe you have a good shot at selling lots of prints! all you need is the prints and the fanbase, and you have both. i would really recommend looking into local print shops, i know you can do it!! i could give you a googlin' hand if you tell me the area you are (: much better through local shops than through websites, which take usually over 50% from you and youre left with dollars and cents. you should give it a shot, really! if its your dream
I think it would be cool to do that
say okay I have this idea/theme for a series of [this many] pictures
and my donations have to reach this much to move on to the next picture.
as like a private email thing even. I've seen a lot of people do that.
you have a big enough following here to make that work
and people would participate because we'd all be working towards it, so it wouldn't cost so much per person [not that you over charge, because you definitely don't]
but you would still get the money you need.
and then offer prints when you finish a series.
maybe with a discount for people who contributed. like if you did ten dollars you save ten percent on prints.
sorry i'm rambling XD

I hope you find more time to create for yourself, this feels so raw and free! I don't see sponsorships as being such a selfish thing as they may seem on the surface. Both parties can stand to greatly benefit from a working relationship of that kind. When you have an idea that is just burning to get out, it is usually guaranteed to be a work of art that speaks volumes emotionally and visually. Commissions, while artists certainly give them their all, are often fundamentally lacking that special something and it's simply because we can't see through each other's eyes to be inspired by the same ideas in the same way.
In my opinion the ideal sponsorship is someone who creatively sees eye to eye with you and enjoys your personal work. By supporting those creative endeavors they reap the benefits in that the art they receive will more likely than not have that IT factor and of course, you the artist benefit by letting your muse run wild. Everyone wins! While I wish more commissions inspired us artists the way that our personal art does, it's just the nature of the beast. In centuries past artists were sponsored by wealthy estates to produce art for them. Usually the creative input (as far as I know) from the patrons were minimal but having an artist create magnificent pieces of art was something that brought a sense of pride and renown to the estate.

If I saw this on the 4th of July it would be better than a fireworks show. It would probably eat me which would suck I guess. What if I make it like me if I pledge my allegiance to it. No one does it for flag anymore...
"I pledge my allegiance to the flaming cat of the Elemental States of America. And to the fur for which it burns one nation indivisible under the dollar with liberty and signal flares for all" someone will probably shoot me for mangling that. Yay second amendment! ...
Like really don't shoot me ok? It's a joke. The art isn't though. It's great!
