Long before there was spacecraft and interstellar travel, there was the age of steam. At no other time had so many discoveries in science and engineering more rapidly transformed the way that furs lived and died. Of course, the most profound effect all technology has manifests in the art of warfare. Many allied and government forces were reluctant to master these complex technologies knowing full-well that centuries of tradition and experience would prove far better than expensive forays into the unknown.
That was until the criminal underworld took the first step, and it was only a matter of decades before the cartels and pirate clans found ways conveying the energy of the atom via vaporized liquids. Faced with this horrific setback, the union of governments set out to take back the seats of technological power – floating harbors of metal and gears that serviced the enemy dirigibles. It was the brave and indefatigable Admiral Randall Hoff who led his fleet of airships to a decisive, albeit not final, victory over the criminal air fleets.
The admiral and his first mate knew of strange new technologies, hidden in the sky harbors that far superceded the potential of steam. To some it was hearsay that these gangs had the ability to travel to other worlds. The admiral knew the reality of strange “event horizons” around super dense cores that could be used to destroy a planet, or transcend the limitations of time and space. It is to him and his brave fleet that we all owe a life of gratitude for his leadership, and his heart of gold (and stainless steel clockwork), that changed the course of history.

Sweet! This is really clever of you, having that contrast between steampunk and more pure SiFi elements. I don't think I have actually ever seen this done before. Here is to creativity! Not to mention a picture with a really well drawn and complicated looking perspective. You did a great job of making me feel like I was right there in on the action.
I feel short of breath, my heart's beating way too fast, I can smell the ozone and burnt oil, I can hear the weapons fire, the voices, the doppler effect of the props, the wind, the mechanisms and metal being stressed to their limits, and feel the vibration from the engines.
Congratulations, this is the 3rd time I use one of your works of art as my wallpaper.
Feliz cumpleaños!

Perhaps it is because you already receive an avalanche of comments with every new work posted, but I rarely take the time to let you know how much I appreciate your artistic endeavors, and I regret that. So I'd like to spare a moment from my day (night, actually) to tell you that I respect you. I respect the time and effort you invest in every new piece of art, and I respect the sheer amount of talent you command, no doubt the culmination of years of practice and labor. I respect the fact that in spite of all this, you seem to have a very approachable air about you, and manage to sidestep that pridefulness I see in so many others of your skill level.
So as for this work itself, let me just say that it's another shining example of why I keep tabs on your art. Clean lines and presentation melded with an incredible level of detail. Not one part of this image is wasted; all available space is used to tell a story. Yet despite the immense amount of activity in the picture, it is easy to comprehend. Of course, there is also the fact that you have rather skillfully melded steampunk and sci-fi elements to create the situation depicted here, which itself is no small feat.
I hope I haven't rambled. I just wanted to express to you my appreciation and, indeed, love of your art. Keep on keepin' on, because you're doing a beautiful job thus far.

You have a surprising talent for making very elaborate and monumental scenery. I'm thinking also of the very large futuristic city background you did of two fox's meeting on a common, with stunning architecture in the background.
It's almost surprising. I'm not sure how to put what I'm trying to say into words. It's almost as if your style, would lead me to believe that your style is better geared to laid back pictures, and yet you've applied it in a very bold, exciting and expansive manner. So I dunno, it's like it makes me like your art style even more, since you can apply it successfully in many different ways.
Oh like your fur suit! I saw that in pictures on here, and I recognized you immediately at FC08 [not that I knew you to say hi], but I thought it was awesome how much it's design reminded me of your work.
Oum I feel like I'm being a bit of a whore writing all of this though. ;3;
