Is to have moments such as these.
You can keep your perfectly timed goofing around photos, you can keep your erotic dances, and you can keep your fanboys.
In moments like this, when a child so small, so innocent is smiling and laughing and gives you a hug. It can make your heart sore to heights unlimited!
This is by far the most heart-warming photo I've probably had taken so far. It was taken at EF this year after the con ended, and with all the kids around it was quite possibly the best day there.
Many thanks to Junkvist for taking it :)

Awwwww, thats a really lovely photo ^____^ I really had an awesome day as well with those kids around. Especially with one who was with his mother and asked me in English if it wasn't warm in there. I wasn't sure how to react at such a question and he thought I didn't understand him. So his Mum looked at my badge and saw I was from Spain and he began to tell me some little phrases in Spanish. It was awesome. He was the nicest boy around there to me ^__^
I had a similar experience (most likely from the same family too *chuckles*) in which a woman asked me something in German. I pointed to my badge and she took note I was from the UK and repeated it in English, saying that their children were having a great time and that it must be hot in the suit :).
Same here. That was adorable. I was wishing that I was in suit as well. But Avy stunk and I was still tired from going nuts during the BBF dance. :)
The only downside to Avy v1.1 is that because of the new legs, I have less mobility than before. I can't get down onto my knees in suit unless I'm really careful and I can barely reach the floor to pick things up. Sitting down is tricky as well. But the reduced mobility is worth it for the better look :)
Suit number 2 will be much more mobile and kid friendly :D

I know many people out there don't like it when fur fans wear fursuits and stuff, but it's nice that children don't go pointing fingers in a bad way. They just see a big fluffy furry creature and want to give it a hug. People are playful creatures in general and there's no harm in that.
I'm not really compatible with kids myself, but even I must admit that sometimes they can be pretty cool.

I know the feeling. When at an anime con for the first time, a little girl (around 5 or 6 I'd guess) saw me in my partial suit, a coyote I'd recently made, and without the slightest of hesitation came and hugged me. I was both shocked and extremely happy, since most kids act shy around me when I'm in suit.
I will tell you this is the EXACT reason I suit.
jacek and many other suiters went out on Mother's Day last year and we all entertained the kids and what not. The best part was when a kid poked my suit eye when I was hugging him, and I flailed around. The mother was like, "HAHAHA, Oh *insert name* you don't poke my eye, so why would you poke his?
All the parents thanked us for doing it and we had a great time... except for the fact is was like... 90* F. D:

This is the sweetest thing. :)
After seeing you all at CF this year I realised how much fun fursuits can be, you dont even need to be that big a performer to have a good time and make people laugh, and if you can make kids dreams of talking animals come alive just once, it's got to be a great feeling. Damn straight I'll be getting one :)
Thanks Frost, thanks a bunch.

That is truly something special, that is something that every Furry should at one time or another, should have happen to them at least once. Having a child embrace you like they would a Disney Cast Member at a Disneyland park. That makes it all worth while.
I personally Cosplay from Japanese Animation and games and do for the sheer thrill of getting to be someone else for a day or more and meeting others who share the same love. But this photo, that shows the other side of dressing up in costume. Just the sheer joy that can be brought to a person who may have otherwise shied away from such a person.
