*Please note that he would only be 15 years old in the Rocket Grunt Uniform so he would be a bit shorter than in the other drawings, I just didn't feel like redrawing it. Also note the shorter hair fringes by his ears and the ponytail. He would be about 17 years old as an A-RANK Rocket.

Violet (who goes by his middle name because he is embarrassed by his first) is a 19 year old former Team Rocket A-RANK Member turned Pokemon Trainer. He was quite sheltered in his childhood by his mother, Percilla, who spoiled him rotten to try to make up for his father dying when he was 2 years old. He was rarely allowed outside of his house to play, and when he was, he usually got himself in trouble.
He met his first Pokemon, a Bidoof, in the woods outside his house after he became lost when he was about 5 years old. The Bidoof helped him find his way out and decided to follow him home. He decided to keep it as a pet and named it Log.
3 years later he met his favorite Pokemon, Drifloon. From his bedroom window he noticed that a balloon was stuck in a tree outside of his house. He snuck out of his house to remove the balloon from the tree, realizing that both the balloon and tree were the Pokemon Drifloon and Sudowoodo. When he removed the Drifloon from the Sudowoodo's grasp, it became enraged and attacked him. The Drifloon protected the young boy and defeated the Sudowoodo, saving him. After that, Lune kept the Pokemon as a pet and named it Rubber.
Not much happened for the next 6 years except that Lune's cousin, Scotty, was born. When he reached the age of 14 he had become tired of being constantly stuck in his home and left to try to become a Pokemon trainer. He received his first fighting Pokemon, a Charmander, from a Professor. About a year later, he was approached by a Team Rocket member and was told that he should join if he wished to become stronger. The naive boy was easily convinced and joined right away.
After about 2 years of being a Grunt, he became an A-RANK Rocket member and was allowed to be a boss over a group of Grunts. Unable to get along with any of peers, he decided to just go solo.
After hearing about a possible strange Pokemon sighting inside of Silver Cave, he was given a mission to go to the cave and investigate. He went to the cave by himself and was ambushed by a giant Ursaring. After being attacked once, he realized that he had accidentally left all of his Pokemon behind at the base and that all he had with him was his Drifloon, who followed behind him outside of a Pokeball. Refusing to let his Drifloon fight, he took on a constant attack by the Ursaring, leaving him nearly dead before his Drifloon decided to disobey his masters orders and attacked the Ursaring head on, defeating it easily.
Lune was found by a few Rocket Grunts and was rushed to a critical care unit. He survived the attack but was left with permanent scars on his back, chest and arms(which he hides with gloves, long sleeves, etc.) and an addiction to pain killers. He recovered within a month and went back to work.
However within 6 months, Team Rocket collapsed once again and dispersed to another region. He decided to quit, tired of the gang's constant failure. He made himself a new outfit designed after Drifloon and headed home to see his mom for the first time in a while.
Lune feared that his mother might learn of his Team Rocket affiliation, his near death experience and his addiction. She didn't find out about any of this at first, however she does find out that he is gay after finding his maid costume in his room.
"Teehee, is this a little bedroom gift for your girlfriend?"
"Ehm, not exactly. That's mine"
"For a costume party?"
"EEH No."
"...OH MY GOD, MY SONS A TRANNY!"
"NO! Ma, I'm not a tranny, I'm gay!"
"OH MY SWEET JESUS MY SON HAS AIDS!"
"Wait, what?"
"All queers have AIDs, thats what they said on FOX News."
"MA!!!"
Percilla does eventually find out about his pain killer addiction after discovering his stash hidden in his room. Enraged, she confronts him on the issue, backhanding him across the face and crying out that 'she didn't raise him this way.' Distraught, he removes his shirt and reveals her scars to her, which he tried desperately to hide from the world, and explained what had happened to him.
Still devastated over the fact that her son had become a junkie despite the circumstances, Percilla gives him an ultimatum: get off the pills or he wasn't allowed in the house anymore. Lune laughs in her face, unable to take the threat seriously.
"You imprisoned me inside this house for most of my life and now you're threatening to bar me out? Bullshit, I know you'll never keep that promise."
"I was just trying to protect you!"
"Protect me from what? You can't be my human shield for all my life!"
"If you hadn't left home this would have never happened to you! You would have never gotten hurt..."
"Haha fuck you, you did this to me. You taught me the best, Ma! Just hide from all your problems and it'll be okay. Dad dies, you hide in your house. I get fucked up beyond comprehension, I hide in this little orange bottle."
"...is this is what you've turned into? What do the pills make you feel?"
"They make me feel nothing."
"Then why are you crying?"
After this, Lune says nothing and leaves the house to go back to what he had originally left this home to do: become a Pokemon trainer. After some soul searching, he does eventually reconcile with his mother, but not for a while after this incident.

Lune has a very poor attitude, acting like a self-centered spoiled brat for the most part. He will get angry over the smallest thing and won't hesitate to throw a fit. He rudely uses sarcasm constantly to avoid having an actual conversation. He starts to become even more irritable after getting addicted to pain killers.
Despite this, he is not very argumentative due to the fact that he can't formulate a good argument. Most of his arguments end with something like "Oh yea? Well, you're a dumb bitch so fuck you and the horse you rode in on!"
He has a very minor speech impediment. He is unable to pronounce the word 'balloon' correctly, so it comes out as 'balon'. He often calls his Drifloon a 'silly balon'.
Lune is a virgin. He is generally not very interested in anything sexual so he rarely finds himself attracted to anything, though when he does get turned on by something he becomes really quiet and flustered and attempts to ignore it. The only thing he is really attracted to are French maid outfits.
He is also very disinterested in romance. He doesn't really have any friends besides his Drifloon and his mother so he doubts he could even hold a romantic relationship with anyone.
He is actually a rather good Pokemon trainer even although he doesn't take it very seriously. He often tells younger challengers "Sorry, must be this tall to ride."
Lune is often mistaken as a woman because of his body type, clothing and hair style, causing him much annoyance. He once punched a kid because of this.
