I thought this sort of thing might be helpful to somebody out there, so I at least made a first chapter. What do you think? Is it useful? This one is about how to pick colors, which makes sense to me as a first topic, because before you can paint, you have to choose what color to paint with. Also, the color selection tools are in a prominent place near the top of the window.

I did this using Adobe InDesign, which is actually a descendant of Aldus PageMaker, which was once the best desktop publishing software in existence. Then Adobe bought it.
