Need lots of help/advice
Hello guys, I don't know how many people really read my journals but right now I'm at a very important stage in my life. I'm planning to finally move out of here. I've been living with my mom in a really crappy apartment all my life, in Oregon.
For those who don't know, Oregon has the highest unemployment rate, and the highest housing rate. Basically, a shitty apartment here is 300 dollars more than what looks like a luxury apartment in another state. And no one has a job to sustain living in these overpriced places.
My money has been dwindling horribly, my mom has no job and seems to have no real chance of getting one. Money wise, we're pretty much surviving off of food stamps.
It doesn't help me when my mom is a very stressful person to live with, she really doesn't bother to do anything and lately she's been trying to ask ME for money. No matter how many times I say I'm running out, she just keeps asking. So I've made a descision. I'm going to be moving out of this state, no matter what.
I'm lucky enough to have met

They are like my family to me now, and they are nice enough to let me live with them so I can have a better chance at life. The problem is, they live on the other end of the united states. I can afford a ticket there, but I don't know how I can move my stuff.
This is where I need help.
I need advice on how I can raise money, preferably from commissions. I want to raise at least 1,000 dollars by June, because I will be moving in late July. The more money I have, the more of my things I can keep (this includes my art books, my clothes, my cat, my sewing machine, my meaningful knick-knacks, my games, my manga, movies, etc, the less important stuff isn't as urgent but the first few things I listed really are a must)
Here are the things I'm thinking of doing, and things people could do to help if possible:
Selling some of my things-
If I were to post up a list of things I'm selling (movies, toys, game consols, costumes, etc) would anyone here be willing to buy? I was thinking of just listing what I'm getting rid of and let people offer prices. I can't really sell a lot of this stuff easily around here, no place to have a garage sale because this complex really sucks, and nothing of worth for a pawn shop (except a pearl necklace but I know they would rip me off)
Taking donations-
This will always be open from now until I move, if anyone is actually generous enough to simply donate to help me, please just send to my paypal, lil53ph1r07h[at]gmail.com
Attempt 100 10$ commissions-
I'm not very popular. Doing this will be very hard unless somehow people would be willing to buy more than one, or if I get some advertising out there from some people. I'm debating between doing 100 in this style: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3653269 (a sort of playful watercolor style, they would be 600x600) or doing 100 line arts with basic shading. Both would be easy for me to produce in mass amounts, and both seem like a good deal I hope. I might even sell either or, let people choose what they want. So I need opinions and suggestions on this.
Things that others can do to help-
Advertising. This is the main thing that might help me, is if people out there who have enough watchers would mention my dilemma in a journal or something so that maybe more people can come and try to help.
Donating. Just a simple donation of any amount of money would be wonderful and kind.
Offering to help. If anyone would like to help perhaps sweeten the deal, maybe do simple commissions for anyone who helps me, I know I'm not very close to many people here but I would be so grateful if someone could really help make this happen. I've seen some people collaborate a fundraiser where one person needed the money and the other just offered to do commissions for donators. I don't know, if anyone out there is nice enough to do that, I would be so grateful and happy. (After all this, if you help with this I'll make it up, maybe a full color thank you or something)
Buy my junk. I don't know how this would go. But if I offered old games, consoles, cute plushies, etc that I don't really need, would anyone be a taker?
This is all I can think of right now, I have no other way to make money anymore and I'm approaching something very important. This month I will be working on finishing all commissions I have right now, and then I will open up the 100 slots and begin auctioning off my stuff. If anyone wants to donate now, that's fine, every little bit helps.
So yeah, opinions, offers, anything, need every bit of help and advice that I can get for this.

Once I get some spare cash, I'll be willing to grab a commission or two as well if you still have any.
However, whenever you open for these commissions, send me a shout and I'll help you out :3
I did consider u-haul but it's a very long way to drive and I can't drive myself, Phlu can drive, but I don't think he'd really be able to handle such a long trip. It's all the way on the other coast of the country. ):
I don't know many people around here so it's very hard to find a person to take such a long drive.
And if you decide on a shirt just let me know :3
Send me a note when your list is up.
And yep, I'll not you when I get it up
Also, since you're planning to move, consider shipping your items via the postal service or UPS ground. I had to move from Pittsburgh to Virginia, and did this because it was cheaper than renting a van. It might be something you can check into, if you don't mind your stuff arriving later than you.
And yeah, just let me know what you'd like, thank you :3
*pats his Back and hugs* hang in there man and keep up the good work I'll buy one off you when I get a pay pal.
