For a while since first reading this, I've been trying to think of something other than saying "I'm sorry for your loss." which seems so terribly inadequate at times like this. I didn't know your husband very well and mostly through his artwork and journals here on FA with maybe a passing comment once in a while. From what I did see though, he seemed like a great guy with a strong sense of commitment to his family.

I sent a little something through Paypal. It wasn't much but I hope it can help in some way. If you do have a bit after the funeral expenses, perhaps you could donate part of it to Marine Land as you've said but save a some of it for your daughter and her future needs as well.

You're welcome, and the circumstances aside, I'm glad I could help in some small fashion through what I know through some experience is a very difficult time. Even at my age, I don't have life insurance so it's not unusual to think he'd have needed it either. I wish you, your daughter and the rest of the family the best possible under the circumstances through the funeral and beyond.

I honestly can't say that I knew him other than "the guy who did a few commissions for my mate", but the loss of someone as close to you as that, I wouldn't know what to do either, I hope you can get enough money to cremate him. And I hope you the very best. *hugs*

Oh damn. Sorry to hear about this. I've chatted with Tib when I visited the furs in Jax, and always joked that Hyundai stole is name for a cheesy sports car. He was a great guy to chat with. The community has lost another good soul.

I fondly remember trying to extract Lace from Tib's grip after meets several years ago. I often won but only because Tib really let him go. He had a grip of steel and I am surprised we never broke Lace. Good times.
