Okay, I am a therian myself but after that.... I think he's not therian just a bit mad. Now I see why therians are frowned upon a little in this fandom... *wants to tie the person up and shut them up forever* I'm not evil.. honest.
Yep. Nothing extreme, I just think I bear the traits of a few species. Which makes sense if you look at our rain structure. The mammalian brain (the two cerebral halves) lies atop the reptilian part (root of the brain) so we have base repitilian desires of food, sex and whatever else. The mammalian is more emotional and if you notice, you see that animals have more emotion-based bonding than the majority of reptiles. So we therefore have highly evolved brains that are a mix of mammal emotion and reptilian drive. Logically therefore it could easily be possible that we have a brain part that belonged, in the cycle of carbon and matter recycling that goes on in the universe, to a wolf or insect or any other animal. I know that sounds scientific but since atoms are continuously recycled, the theory of reincarnation has a lot to lend it.
And I'm not a therian who insists I am purely wolf. Even I have no time to deal with them. No, no. I see that I simply have traits in common with animals. I don't see people as people. I see most people as animal types even if not furry. *shrugs* This is the way I've always perceived things this way, I can't really explain it.
there are simply different creatures who have generally different personality traits, and it is only inevitable that a human being's personality will resemble some more than others. The resemblance is obvious, and it's perfectly normal to associate. It is simply a crime that society expects us to bury harmless ideas of self-exploration.
It's funny though, I've known a few dragons in person and all of the ones that I HAVE met face-to-face really do have 'reptilian' personalities basically driven by sex, food, riches, and power. It's kind of frightening how accurate it has been!
I am of the belief however that everything has a soul, and that our bodies will be occupied by whatever can find it first. Souls do not have a species, but a species of body will attract a soul that prefers it of course; otherwise, the "chemical reactions" that people mistake for the root of our emotions are simply the body's attempt at making true on the physical plane what is already true to the soul. Emulation.
No it says that in order not to go to hell you must belive in god and believe that jesus is your savior in order to go to heavan instead of desending to hell or at least what I remember.?
"Man need not diefy or create a supernatural source of evil, for Man is as evil a thing as Man shall ever witness in Nature. God, were he real, and were he caring and loving as he is said to be, would not abide by the existance of Man and all it's evil. To create such a race of monsters, he would have to be a truly petty and cruel being. And so, even if God really existed, he would have to be abolished." - Can't remember.
Without getting a drawn into a big religion debate, I'd just like to ask you. If someone believes in something does that automatically make it real? No. "for someone to go to hell, he must first believe in its existence" If hell doesn't exist, then it doesn't matter that someone believes in it or not, that person still isn't going to go there.
Secondly, where in the Bible does it say that you must believe in Hell to go there? I've read the Bible and I'm pretty darn sure that it says that all who do not accept Christ as their savior will spend eternity in Hell.
Now I'm not trying to put any beliefs here on anyone, I'm just pointing out some prior mistaken logic and asking for some reference as to your comment about the Bible.
By that logic...
God sent countless millions of 'heathens' he created and placed on the earth, to Hell without a choice in the matter or chance for salvation solely because they never heard the word of God, never seen a priest, never read a bible, because Christianity didn't exist in much of the world until the past few hundred years.
God damned innocent people to hell.
A little food for thought.
I think you missed the point I was making. I wasn't talking about the "religious" aspect of his comment. I was talking about the logic. He said that someone has to believe in something in order for it to have consequence in said persons life. But my point is that if that certain something doesn't exist (Hell in this case), then even if that person believes in it, it still won't affect him, because it doesn't exist. For a simpler example, If I believed that humans can communicate with their power tools, that doesn't mean we can. It just means that that's what I believe. Do you understand my point? Believing in something doesn't make it real, it just means that you believe in it.
As for my second part, I was simply making a literary inquisition, as to where in the Bible It sasy that only people who believe in Hell go to Hell. Because as far as I know, that goes against what the Bible teaches.
I think you are confusing me for someone who is trying to defend Christianity here.
That was more a blanket response to anyone. Also pointing out that it's an equally incorrect logical fallacy to say everyone who doesn't beleive in God is going to hell. Because that would make God himself immoral, unjust, and unfair. Which goes against everything the bible says.
It's called a Logical Collapse. One detail can invalidate the entire argument. Scientists run into it all the time, and it's the primary cause of theories to be dispelled. Theory of Relativity, namely.
Again I wasn't trying to bring up the religion aspect, I was ONLY trying to point out the logistics part of your comment. I'm sorry I did now, because everyone seems to be completely missing my point.
I think he's making a veiled plea to the fandom to be killed by a guy in a (cyborg) dragon fursuit, because (cyborg) dragons are more superior than humans and it would mean evolution is working in a more logical way. :V
In case you haven't noticed, you are in a site full of furries. But you treat it as "Something Awful" instead. So don't play the wise guy. You'll only make yourself look stupid at the end.
To put it in another way: to sit and stay here, you have to behave.
If I were "human", I'd go "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, FURRIES!" as they do at Deviant Art, and keep away from here!
Complain about "rights" and "wrongs" to the ones that invented them. Your (h)ideologies and overall perception are none of our concern. They keep us away from animals, you hairless ape.
It is an obvious conclusion based on the psuedo-intellectual bullshit of this post that you must, in fact, be right.
Where's that comic-rant about how people don't really hate furries for their kinks, but for their psuedo-intellectual self-rightous verbal vomit?
I need to link that here.
If deviantart hated furries, then why do I see so much furry art in the popular section of deviantart? I've been on DA for almost 3 years and I never saw any hate toward furries.
To be fair, I have seen deviant art hound furrys in several threads on there. I know, my friends are more then happy to link me when they are being attacked. But then again I can understand why to an extent. I imagine it is quite alarming to many regular people who are there just to brows art; just to become witness to all this fetish stuff.
dude, if you look in the mirror and see flesh, your a human, fucking deal with it.
if you look in the mirror and see a blue saint bernard looking back, you either need to
A) go to an opticians
B) seriously consider getting yourself checked in to a mental health institute.
You can think you have the soul of an animal I don't care, but when you start believing you're ACTUALLY a dog, that's when you need to put down the fantasy novel, and look at the real world.
Geez what a retard especialy talking about dragons that really is no excuse to why he must be so racist... I can understand if I were japanesse some Wannabe called me a "Ching Chong" but don't take it out on everyelse who is the same race.
I usually won't get into this kinda shit, but someone's head dosen't strike me as being screwed on right if they're gonna ban vegex for cracking some jokes at this retard's expense.
Alright then, carry on.

Be wolflike ^_^
It's been writen in the bible for ages, unless your pope made people rewrite the bible again to change this fact.
either way, you fail.
I've had it when I learnt the pope covered up those pedophile priests, and there's nothing in this world that will make me change my mind on this.

and any religion is bad...
crap and they let dumb people like that on tv? hell
You are insane to view such crap as valid information...
No wonder you were kicked out of the forums. But you still haven't learnt, have you?
I was largely joking when I said all of them are in insane, just the nutcases who hate humans and think they're animal people
'Learnt'.
And I'M supposed to be the token marsupial redneck!
To put it in another way: to sit and stay here, you have to behave.
YOU ARE HUMAN
And I'm not going to keep my mouth shut, I have every right to voice my opinion just as YOU seem to do in your gallery
To sit and stay here, you have to not be a douche.

YOU. ARE. HUMAN.
Funny, because I'm a furry AND a human. Since, you know, one's a species and the other's a fandom.
I think I sense a gigantic lolcow amongst us.
YOU HAIRLESS APES.
Or something to that extent.
Also We need to bring back Vegex.
stfu.
I vote to unban Vegex.
Alright then, carry on.
