The new graphics look great! Not "revolutionary", but pleasingly up to date with "good" modern graphics to date. And as always, the environments look spectacular ^^
I can't wait!
EDIT:: Youtube pulled the video for no legit reason. Just google search: Game Informer Skyrim Scans
You'll find plenty =)

It's too bad, because I love the concept behind the games and the world... maybe they've learned their lessons, but I doubt it.
I just want it to be as immersive as MW was.
The bugs were there but they didn't destroy the experience. You learn to adapt.
The graphics were great for a video game. The animation also was actually fairly decent. Yes, the mouths didn't match the words, but that's /minor/.
The controls were editable! NEVER complain about an EDIT-CAPABLE control setup! If you don't like it, change the keys in the options menu.
The menus themselves were similar to many other games.
You are talking about death by a thousand papercuts. D: Yes, there are better games, but Oblivion isn't horrible. It's just average. The same goes for the Fallout games. There are bugs and issues but they are minor if you don't go into the game expecting it to suck.
If you go into a game expecting it to suck, you will hate it even if it is flawless.
And some of my complaints are minor things, but the bugs and control issues are show stoppers.
you can only take so many crashes and freezes where you loose whatever progress you've made before you decide it's not worth the frustration, and the issues with the controls weren't about the key placement, it's with the fact that a lot of the time, the keys you press and what happens on screen don't seem to have much correlation.
True, I guess everyone has their limit.
I never had that issue with controls. o~o if I saw the wrong action, it was because I pressed the wrong key (and realized it during the ohnosecond that follows all foul-ups).
(Why yes that's a modded Morrowind Argonian in my icon. :P Old fursona lol.)
All technical issues aside, two things annoyed me most...
City guards were both psychic and able to teleport to where you were committing a crime, even if they had no possible way of knowing you'd committed that crime. I tested this by murdering people in their beds at night with one hit kills. I also tested it by climbing onto an inaccessible roof that the AI path finding couldn't manage and shooting people with a bow until a guard magically appeared next to me on the roof to place me under arrest.
The other utterly stupid game design choice was the levelling system that made everything level up along with you. It didn't work well for FFVIII and it's even worse here. It's just ridiculous that a random bandit is geared up like, and as tough as, some legendary warrior.
That's not even touching on the disappointingly simple melee and horribly cumbersome and archiac magic system. Combat for magic users should not consist of constantly running backwards while drinking countless potions in the middle of combat. It's poor game design and there's really no excuse. I found the game balance for different types of character class very poor in general.
Overall, I found the game pretty unplayable on console and only played it heavily modded on PC. At least that way, I could paper over a few of the more serious cracks. I never really understood all the hype about it.
On the other hand, I really enjoyed playing fallout 3, so maybe they'll win me back with Skyrim.

Also? As stated here, don't take only my word for it. I've been following and researching dragons for nearly 30 years now.... but they *are* fantasy for the most part, and nothing created by me. If you want to believe Wyverns are pure dragons in their own right, feel free to do so. I just wanted to say what I've learned in the time I've been looking into the concept.
But you're right as well. I can't really define for someone else what a fantasy creature is. That's up to them.
I just know there were Pendragons, the Wyvrens, the two-leged arm-winged dragons (like a bat!), and the occasional dragon-serpent. xD
Kinda makes you wonder if they were posting false info, doesn't it?
Why has Bethesda slowly been falling apart? They were so good... they even abandoned some of their more dedicated players in exchange for people who play Xbox and whatnot.
Oblivion and Morrowind were not that buggy if you installed the patches Bethesda gives.
Bugs and glitches were never a problem for me. What was a problem was usually the content.
