Recently half a year ago poked at by a fellow fur asking an 'out of the blue' question,
"Could you upload the latest <insert-pay-to-view-furry-porn> to the trackers?"

This alerted me something which may have affect on the use of my current handle...

After doing a Google investigation, I confirmed of its existence. To be specific, it is an active 'pirate' Blog which
distributes Pay-to-see adult material from a few well known furry adult artists and companies for nearly 3 years now...

I wouldn't otherwise intervene, but apparently this particular blog has been using my current handle to
distribute these materials. Recently, they even made a twitter account which is simply adds 2 letters...

In their defense, I have to say that this handle is very generic, after all it is just the words "Virtual" and "Fox"
collided and Meshed all together. A quick Google search reveals there are infact MANY users of the handle, even before I started using it.
But after nearly 7 years of its use, Its sorta grown on me...

However, I very much doubt that they'd change the name of their blog and userhandle, as they are, #channers distributing adult material in channels of questionable-legality.

To not cause excessive notice to recover the 'proper use of the name' as the Damage has already been done,

I have been phasing out this handle out of regular use (and as you see, there hasnt really been anything new for a while now).
I have NO intention (at all) to be associated with distribution of furry adult entertainment (for now), or especially being in a middle of a brewing Intellectual Property Rights and Public Relations shitstorm.

It will still take a few months before this phaseout will fully complete. The new Handle would very much less likely be 'accidentally' used 'inconjunction with adult art', adding to a future defense against trolls.

This is just to secure that I wouldn't be associated with this handle within the change to next year.

Now a small handful of you guys know about my 'furry-drama commentary' handle which I have been using as of late,
especially after voicing my opinion on a certain video that nearly went viral.

This will be adapted as my new nickname: On the double side the handle is generally less furry,
as no animals directly connected the name, but would perfectly do as a universal handle in the future.

Unfortunately, this change has meant extensive backtracking of ALL my current accounts, and data information
which can be googled and associated with my handle, and that's going to a bitch to do and will take a very looong time to revert,
if at all. Thankfully it is only a few minor connections, mainly to do with my Second Life name, and a
couple of forum posts I can edit out eventually, but to this is all simply to mimize collateral. The more difficult parts will be all the wiki articles which connect my Second Life name to this handle, (to redirect them properly to the new handle).

So in summary I have been doing preparatory damage control as of late, mainly incase the bomb -ever-
goes off- Or if it would ever affect me in the Real Life.

But one thing remains that strikes me odd, that of the 3 years the particular service has been up,
NO ONE mentioned it to me until recently this year.

What would be your guys opinion on the subject of changing nicknames in case of shit like this?
