Badge Commisions
13 years ago
Sadly, my research funding has been denied. My loss is your incredible gain! I'm opening badge commissions in order to cover some of my graduate tuition fees.
Badges are done in the "alchemic" style, meaning both the caricature and design symbolism (any and all symbolism will be explained to the buyer upon completion of the badge). Colour and block-print line-work are extra, and can also be combined.
See this link for examples: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/7738848/
Basic badge = $10
Add colour for $5
Add block-print line for $10 (this takes a lot of my time and eyesight)
Laminated = $1
Lettering can be done in both Aramaic (Hebrew) or Latin (English) text.
Fast turn-around promised! Note me with your request and with a (preferably clean) reference.

I PAY IN TOYS OF THE TRANSFORMING KIND.
I APPROVE OF EXCHANGE ECONOMIES.
I'm interested but I would like to find out more.
When doing a badge character, I make use of the reference to the extent that the commissioner is comfortable with. Most people don't mind me altering the character to incorporate the alchemic symbolism, but I can happily keep the character as similar to the reference. For example, if I were to draw a Wyvern "traditionally" i would give it a more beak-like snout with no feathers in accordance to the "process of sublimation and emergence". If I were to draw your wyvern with no instruction, I would still add the beak but incorporate the feathers since it fits well with the symbolism. Lastly, if you wanted your character spot-on I would happily depict it the way you ask me too with no alterations.
I approach the alchemic style with the intent that people find a symbol that they are integrally, committed and utmost happy using to represent them.
