► F A Q ◄
These are (what I'm assuming might be) commonly asked questions about the group which will be updated periodically. If you have a question, ask here or Note me!
• How do I become a member?
All you need to do is watch this account, and if you can, link back to Printmaking on FA to help spread the word. This is an informal group with no requirements for membership or official directory of members.

• Do I need to have printmaking in my gallery or be a printmaker to join?
Nope! Fans and printmakers and people wanting to know more about printmaking alike can join, and having print works in your gallery is not required... but that would rock! This group is here to promote printmaking, so we can see more of it on FA! If you don't have any examples of your print work in your gallery, I hope you will soon!
• I want to submit something to the group. How do I do that?
If you want something featured in the group submissions, send me a Note with a link to the artwork and any information you want posted with it. I will post it to the group with all credits and links pointing back to you and the original submission, as well as explicit instructions to fave and comment your original post. Please only submit works that abide by FA's rules and guidelines. There are no rating restrictions. Oh and of course... printmaking only! :)
Additionally, you can also Note me with links, resources, news, topics of discussion and other content you want to contribute to the group. Everything posted to Printmaking on FA must abide by FA's policies.
• How long will it take for my submission to show up?
The group will be updated as often as I am able, which might mean I will not be making updates or responding to Notes daily. I will try to post content (when available) at least once a week to twice a month. I want to showcase members' work about once a month. I will try to return notes as often as I can.
• I have printed photographs, or my scanned/digital art printed onto quality art paper. Does this count?
No, what you have there are reproductions, not printmaking. Printmaking is a hands on art form where in the process results in one or more prints as the work of art (not a reproduction of an existing piece of art.) It can have digital/photographic elements, but the majority of the work needs to engage one of the printmaking forms. Examples of printmaking works are woodcuts, screen prints, etchings and lithographs, to name only a few. If you are not sure what qualifies as a printmaking piece, ask!
