I was going to post this earlier in the week but unfortunately FA had a serious derp and went down, but so far we're setting up for Floor Wars for MFF 2012. Which means...

~SIGN-UPS FOR FLOOR WARS ARE NOW OPEN!~

STARTING FROM MFF 2012, there will be TWO divisions that you can sign up for: FURSUIT and NON-FURSUIT. If you're interested in signing up, please send an e-mail to lastfurone[at]gmail.com titled "Floor Wars Application" and fill out/include the following form:

PLEASE NOTE, a lot of people have asked for a playlist of possible songs that will be in Floor Wars. I have provided a sample list below of some songs to give you an idea of what to get ready for:

=====CONTESTANTS: PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES & DETAILS OF FLOOR WARS BELOW=====

All of these rules apply to ALL CONTESTANTS:

Attendance
We will have a ROLL CALL for all contestants, both fursuit and non-suit, 15 minutes BEFORE THE PANEL STARTS. This is to ensure that we have even numbers for our brackets and to avoid confusion.

Battle Etiquette
We had a few issues at Floor Wars at AC 2012 that were brought up by some dancers that we will be making rules.
-NO TOUCHING YOUR OPPONENT. Use your dancing to do the talking. Burns/Hand Motions are fine.
-LET YOUR OPPONENT FINISH. No running out in the middle of your opponent's set until they indicate they are done, or they are counted out by the MC.
-NO EXCESSIVE INSULTS. We want to keep this a PG-13 maximum rated competition. Not only do the judges NOT like it, your fellow furries won't either.

We will make these rules clear at the beginning of the competition as well to make sure that you all remember. There are no exceptions to these rules.

Fursuit Division - Info
Please make sure that you are able to last at least a good two hours in suit before signing up, because this will be a VERY hot event. We will have a backstage cooling area and water stations but we cannot afford to have an emergency in the middle of the competition.

FAILURE TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE LATE/NOT COMING BEFORE THE COMPETITION STARTS WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION AND POSSIBLE BAN FROM THE EVENT ALTOGETHER.
