So it's been quite a while since I've taken commissions, but I think it's time to open them again. I'm feeling positive and inspired and I have some time on my hands... and I need money! As such, I do believe it's time for me to update my commissions sheet. My style and skill level has changed quite a lot in the past while, and I want to be able to represent that accurately. However, I don't have many recent examples of my art, and I need to change that. Therefore, I'm going to be opening up my commissions with ridiculously cheap prices for the moment. I'd like to do this so that I can get together some current examples that showcase my skill level as it is now. These prices only apply to those who are willing to have the art they order displayed on my commissions sheet! So essentially, commissions are closed to those who do not want their order displayed.
So this is how it's gonna work. The current -special- prices for my commissions are listed below. If you're interested, you can either note me or toss me an email (manegolin@gmail.com) to work out the details. (Note: Complex and multiple characters are extra!) Email is preferred for convenience. I'll still get back to you if you send a note, but it probably won't be as quick of a response. The idea is that once I do your commission, I'd like you to tell me how much you would have expected to pay for the same quality of work from someone else. :) PLEASE REMEMBER to do this, as it is the entire point of me offering these commissions. If I don't get enough feedback, I won't be able to figure out the base prices for my new commissions sheet. (note: the character limits I listed are just so that I can get this all done much faster and start to offer my regular-price commissions!) The number of slots available will probably change once I get started. I will update this journal when I open more slots!
I will also be doing a small raffle to those who share this journal while I'm doing intro prices! To enter, the only requirement is that you are watching me! Then, please make a journal advertising this promotion/raffle, and make a comment below with a link to the journal. Once my promotion is over, and I've finished my commissions sheet, I will be using a random number generator to pick a winner. The winner of the raffle will receive either: 2 sketches, 1 shaded piece, or their choice of up to 4 icons or micros. DO NOT DELETE THE JOURNAL. I will be checking the journal entry of the winner to make sure it's still there, so it's fair to all the other people who enter.
