As some people ask me about the color code of my collars, I think a little explanation should be a good idea...
Years ago I wrote ~60 pages of background/story for a webcomic, however I didn't have enough drawing or 3D skills to pass the step between story and comic
Also, I'm not really a great writer (especialy in English...) so this story was only read by a few.
Of course this one was also read by my mate and Master.

IRL Naalik and I use the same code.

Collar background
Black collar :
It's worn by pets. In this world, most of the pets were born as pet.
However, this collar can also be use as a punishment for citizens if they do something wrong and should be in jail for more than 3 years.
In this case, the guilty can choose (if he's not dangerous) between become a pet or stay in jail.

Blue collar :
This one is for pre-citizens. Each master can offer to his pet to become a citizen.
The pet can accept or decline this offer
- If he accepts, his master will help him to act as a citizen. After some months/years, the pre-citizen will have an official examen. He has to succeed it to become a full citizen.
- If he declines, his master can ask him to search for a job (few jobs are open to pet) to earn some money for them (50% for the master / 50% for the pet).


Each color is link to differents rights/duties :
Black collar :
- Pet must serve his master and obey only to his Master (as soon as his master respects his few rights).
- Master must treat his pet well : Provides him/her a warm place to sleep/good meals and threats him/her well.

Blue collar :
This one is a bit tricky... a "young" pre-citizen will probably act as a pet contrary to one with one year practice as pre-citizen.
Rights/duties involve the same way...
-> At the beginning : few rights and only duties back to his master
-> After months/years : rights/duties approximately equal to ones of a citizen
