I'll get the ball rolling with my intro:

I'm known in the furry community as The Curry Mouse (or simply, Curry) & am more known for furry accessories (tails, etc) than SFX, but it was my love of creature costuming that drove me into SFX makeup. Right now, I'm taking Dick Smith's basic makeup course, & looking forward to moving to the advanced course soon. Most of my updates are posted on http://acrotomicfx.weebly.com - finally got the store page up, too, but there are very few products in it at the moment since most of my time is spent on college work, raising a kid, and working on my project for Dick Smith's course.

I am Logen L. Luther also known as the Blue Bear by many. I primarily make weapons and props for movies and attractions like haunted houses. I am now getting into mass producing parts for fur suits like paw pads, claws, eyes and electronics like fans and fiber optic whiskers. For schooling i went to the Tom Savine makeup fx school, as well as aprintacing with magicians and prop fabricators.

Duskysam here! I have wanted to try effects makeup since I was a teenager, but apart from a couple of weak attempts I never had the confidence to pursue it. In 2005 I did a goblin makeup for a short film (the Goblin and the Woodsman on YouTube), but I really got into the swing of things in late 2010. Since then I have combined costuming and prosthetic and mask work for top to bottom character creations, several of which are on my profile here. I have mostly used Northfur FX noses for my animal characters, but in 2013 I began to collaborate with a local makeup effects artist on custom prosthetics, ones that I designed and sculpted while she molded and fabricated. Eventually I would like to have a small line of toon prosthetics/masks for sale, I am gearing up for that while working on a mask/makeup heavy film project. Can't say I won't be busy!

Just a silly wabbit joining!:P I know at least one other person here well:)

Basically, facepaint, makeup, and prostehtics were something that fascinated me as a kid even though I was terrible at art...

I have been working with makeup since about 1999 when i debuted my first Wally Wabbit outfit which was esentially an open faced fursuit with crude makeup. A year later the costume changed to spandex and I began wearing a Northfur prosthetic.

A few years later I took a hiatus from the furry makeup and began experimenting a bit with clown makeup where I met another fur/professional clown who helped me get done up on a couple occasions as both a male and female clown ane even gave me a couple of noses.

The makeup stuff sat on the shelf until a few years ago when I met a member of this group and with some help I got made up as quite a number of characters. One thing led to another and the next thing you know I am back to doing makeup stuff again.

I can't say I am terribly talented and I am still brushing up from when I put my makeup on the shelf several years ago but, I have done a few makeups since and intend to do several more.

I love clown makeup and mime makeup just as much as I love furry makeups. I also enjoy just about anything silly and have a knack for cartoon hands.
