Commission Terms of Service

General
1. GENERAL
All artwork is digital and will be delivered as digital image files. A high resolution file will be made available to you on request if you wish to do your own printing.
You may request up to three major revisions (here referring to revisions which involve redrawing parts of the image) of the drawing at the sketch stage [exception: lucky dips]. Once you have okayed the sketch, no further major revisions will be undertaken by the Artist, but you may request minor revisions (here referring to edits of color, markings and similar surface-level alterations) within reason.
2. PAYMENT
You do not have to pay anything up front. The Artist will begin by providing a rough sketch to work out the concept, composition and pose.
Fee must be paid in full once you are happy with the sketch. Work will not be continued past sketch stage without full payment [exception: lucky dips]. Once you have stated that you are happy with the sketch, you will be asked to provide PayPal information, and the Artist will send you an invoice.
If after three major revisions at the sketch stage you are still not happy with the work, the agreement between Artist and Commissioner will be taken to be at an end and no further work will be done; you will not obliged be to pay anything. In such cases the Artist retains all rights to the sketch and may reuse elements thereof as a base for other artwork.
The Artist undertakes to deliver work within two weeks of payment in full for a single image; more time may be required for commissions involving multiple images or sequential art.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be over 18. As minors are legally unable to enter into a business contract, I regret that I cannot work with under-18s except through the arbitration of a parent or guardian.
4. USING MY ARTWORK
I understand and cheerfully accept that the Internet has certain conventions of use. You will not find many artists with a TOS as free as mine in this respect.
YOU:
You may repost commissioned work freely on your own FA page, on other art sites, imageboards, or anywhere else you choose. Just tell people where you got it from!
You may edit, crop, recolor or do anything else you like to your commissioned work, as long as it remains solely for your personal and noncommercial use.
You may NOT put commissioned work to any kind of commercial use.
ME:
I retain the right to post commissioned work on my own FA page, on imageboards, or anywhere else I choose.
I retain all rights to my work under copyright law, including the right to identify myself as the creator of the work.
