...at 12:30 am this morning my dog's eye was ripped out by my boyfriends dog. The third dog was in heat which started the two males fighting. The vets in the area were all closed as I frantically called every number I knew. His eye kept popping out further so I held back his eyelids to prevent further rupture.I finally got an emergency vet...
they said he might loose his eye. Right now I just got him home with all his mess. The bill ended up being over $1000 for surgery to put his eye back, keep him overnight and clean his neck wounds. I'm still unrecovered from this whole ordeal. He's okay for now I have to try to get him to eat... He's got an cone collar on. Medication every 4-8 hours and about 5 different meds.
