How did I get into Undertale? Well, I think I first saw it on Tumblr and I thought the skelebros were kind of weird and annoying. But there were also cute goats! I knew there was something sad about Asriel, but that was enough to get me to check it out on YouTube. After spoiling the entire game on YouTube, I finally played through the pacifist route myself. And now I am obsessed with the skelebros *coughMostlySanscough* My other top favorites are Alphys and Toriel X3 Why do I love this game so much--I think it must be just the right mix of silliness, optimism, and horrific angst X3

As for why I joined this group, I was hoping for a way to connect with other Undertale fans on FA. I don't have much presence on this site so it's hard :3

Nice to see that you got into Undertale the same way that I did. There was a TON of art on Tumblr that was so cool and caught my attention and I said, hey why not? I should play it, too. I however never did look up any playthroughs on YouTube and have been playing the game blind. I've gone so far as to record and upload my content on YouTube. I'm currently on Genocide route and my god I hate Undyne now. XD

I really love the game since it gives me so many Earthbound feels.

Well, I got into Undertale because I heard a few friends talking about it. Then I wanted to see what it was like and I ended up getting it from my bro. He told me it would be the game for me and he wasn't wrong. ^^

The first time I played through it I ended up taking a normal pacifist route. When I first saw the skeleton brothers, they immediately became my favourite characters. I've always been a fan of skulls/skeletons since I'm a bit of a goth/punk girl. I found them to be cool. But aside from Paps and Sans, Flowey was also another favourite of mine because even though he was a little psychopath that tried to kill you so many times, in the end you really got the emotional feels that he had a really tough life and he just needed help in the end. Then there's Undyne. She grew on me eventually as I didn't like her at first, but when you see her true personality of a wild and crazy but caring fish, it's hard not to like her after that xD

I felt horrible the first death I had when facing Toriel first time. Her moves were difficult to dodge. And when facing Photoshop Flowey I was like "Omg! How the hell am I gonna beat this thing?!" I died so much trying.

And then one day after doing the True Pacifist Route quite a number of times, I swore I'd never do Geno, but then one day I was really bored and curious and I decided to try it. And in the end when I finally got to facing Sans, it was so evil xD but I think that was the best fight in the game. I really enjoyed that route just for that fight. But the Undyne fight was also insane and pretty enjoyable too.

Alright so I know that was a skele- ton of text but, the reason why I love Undertale is because of how it has its humor, it's horror side and how it puts in the emotional feels when it needed to.

The reason why I'm wanting to join this place is because I wanted to try and find a group I could fit in and feel connected with others who love Undertale too. ^^

I think I first discovered undertale from a guy on the bus when I was in, like, 3rd grade when I said I had a painting in Minecraft of a skeleton chilling in a giant slipper and he told me about Sans. 😐
Then I didn’t get into the game until many years later when it wasn’t a thing anymore while I was watching a sketchbook tour 😑

I got into Undertale mainly through a friend that was a huge fan. But eventually, I decided to look into it myself and become invested with the story and even the characters~ I played the game myself and I immensely enjoyed it. As of now, I have an AU in progress and hope to one day come full circle with it~

There was also lots of art and comics on the web from said game that got me into it more. :3
