So i started working at petsmart in oct of 07..well recently well febuary 20 i called off sick due to chronic health issues..well after roughly an hour or so, my manager calls and tells me that i HAVE to come in for a "field interview" which i know petsmart doesnt do...but anyways..i told them im sick end of story cant come in..well the managers kept calling and the store manager basically threatened me that if i dont come in i loose my job...bad thing is at the time i was literally the only person in my entire house working..my mom and uncle are laid off from working at a GM part suppiler company. So anyways i call a co-worker and she comes and picks me up since i dont drive...and my parents werent home..well once i get there i found that our district or regional manager...iforgetwhich was there and some guy named Shane..Well we went into the office which had the window blacked out with a piece of paper so noone could see in or anything...well they talked to me like i was a normal person for a while..but later they started asking me if i had ever stole from the company..money dog food candy etc to which i told them that i hadent..and they still kept on and on...finally they told me that they thought i was part of a theft conspiricy going on in the store..which included a manager and 2 other employees...well after a while of me saying over and over that i didnt steal anything they told me that they thought i had stolen dog food and roughly 1000 in money from the register..which i was a petcare associate i worked the register maybe 5 times in the past 4 months..and noone would be able to steal from it due to a camera and its infront of the managers office..but somehow they thought i did...even they said it was hard but could be pulled off..they had also stated that the other people were stealing the money from the safe...which i have never had access to or have actually been around when it was open...but anyways after about an hour or so they both leave the room for 20 mins and come back woth my store manager..to which she told me i was fired...10 more mins go by and the cops show up and arrest me..basically what happened was they called corp to see if i should be let go or just be taken in for theft..well i got to sit in jail for 3 days..sick.. and only one call to home while i waited for a judge to tell me my bail...while i was in there i was charged with theft a F-5 and would be apart of a conspiricy..well after talking to the judge they gave me a court date and a bail which i was lucky to get a signiture bond..because my family couldnt afford an actual bail for me...well i had court 2 weeks later..to which they gave me an option..i pleage guilty and take a mistimeanor OR i could be tried as a conspiritor and possibly face up to 12 years in jail..which was what they said the manager would possibly be getting..soo which is what everyone else would get...well needless to say i took the mistimeanor..i now have a theft record for something i had no part of..they ended up saying that i stole dog food and money out of the register...but they didnt have proof only what someone had said...which happened to be the manager that was arrested...wasent exactly someone i got along with...but after my meeting with the judge i was lucky enough to walk out only owing courtfines and what petsmart said i had stolen i was lucky enough to have 180 days of jail time suspended..which is roughly 6 months..which totaled to 2,508.82 which..in my bank account i had 600.00 so i paid them that..which left me owing them 2,008.82 via what the records say ._. the money is due may 20th ..i have no job and my family has no money to help me out with..and if i cant come up with the money theyll issue a bench warrent which means ill have to serve 6 months in jail..that i cant afford to serve...i gotta find a job so i can help my mom and uncle their unemployment runs out soon and theres just nothing in the area hiring.. and i only have until may 20th to pay the money... so im at a loss of what to do...Currently accepting checks and money-orders AND paypal mcfattycat[at]yahoo.com ....
